I wrote this city guide from the point of view of a rollerblader, because we see the architecture of a city and urban spaces different from normal tourists. Rollerbladers look for other things. We always search for the little things in bet-ween or next to the obvious architecture.
I wrote this city guide from the point of view of a rollerblader, because we see the architecture of a city and urban spaces different from normal tourists. Rollerbladers look for other things. We always search for the little things in between or next to the obvious architecture. The curb close to the museum, the hand-rail in front of an apartment building or the bench under a bridge, that´s the kind of architecture we are looking for, the kind we will find in any city, as long as we keep our eyes open. On the other hand I also wanted to tell you something about the cultural aspects of the city. In this city guide you will find more than skatespots. You will also find information about cheap hostels, bars and museums, as well as the best shops and galleries in town. This will help you survive the rainy days of the year!helsinki city guide from dirk oelmann on Vimeo.
