Be-mag: Introduce yourselves and your company.
CB: My name is Casey Bagozzi and I was born and raised in Sacramento California.
PO: And I'm Paul Oliveira from Sac as well.
CB: Our company is called In Motion Blade Video Series and the name basically speaks for itself. I film edit and design for our videos.
PO: I also film and supply the funds and equipment to produce our videos.
B: What is the concept of In Motion?
PO: Well the whole reason we started was to keep everything in motion, to keep the videos coming out quickly and we started to make Volume 2 but we got too deep and realized it takes time to make a video worth wild and worth selling.
CB: What happened last year was we created a cool online video and we realized it didn't take that long and wasnt that hard to produce so we used it as a promotion for our video series. Then we started to focus more on our second installment so we really wanted to make something different and fresh. So we decided to add personality to our videos and add articles about whatever was worth talking about.
B: Who is all involved in Volume 2? And how did you go about choosing these people?
CB: Well there's Shawn Oberg, Danny Malm, David Lineback, Dustin Dixon & Will Cosgrove who have legitimate sections. Jon Julio, Tariq Jenski & Sean Keane hold down the articles for this video.
PO: During the filming of the online video we had a good idea of who we wanted to make sections on for our next video and we brainstormed for some articles and we knew we wanted to get Julio involved because he is such a well known name in our industry. We kind of figured out the other articles as we went along and they worked out perfectly.
B: I have seen this video and I noticed alot of bonus material. Can you tell everyone out there what they get when they purchase In Motion Volume 2?
CB: Well besides the quality filming and editing in the video that is about 40 minutes long, there is also bonus sections like a photo slideshow by Nick Korompilas, an extra roadtrip and trick tip article, Scott Moores birthday bbq, leftover clips including falls and Will Cosgroves hammer process. The video also has 8 seperate audio tracks that you can access with your dvd remotes audio button including directors commentary, playing different soundtracks throughout the entire video.
PO: There is also a secret secret menu when you goto the bonus and press down 28 times and up 3 times then press enter. This menu has 2 b-roll sections and other top secret humorous edits you have to see when you get the video.
CB: and there is alot more skaters than listed before in this video like Brandon Smith, Derek Henderson, Joey Ihara, Steve Kerr, Buddy Newby, Russell Day, Sapata, Ross Kuhn, Cory Pass, Iain Mcleod, Winston Wardwell and many more.
B: What is your favorite part of the video?
PO: My favorite part is the intro.
CB: I'd have to say it's a toss up between the cover art and the clean image of the menu, and the Half and Half montage in the middle of the video. That shit is hella hard. Or when Will says "What kit laced kit what what whaaaaaa"
PO: I would also have to say the premiere, because I got to see all the people that showed up and the good reaction to the video, made it all worth it.
Where can I buy this video?
po: You can get the video now at rollerwarehouse.com , aggressivemall.com , intuitionskate.com , revolutionskate.com , erolling.com , skates.com and be-mag is distributing the video to all the finer european shops as we speak.
B: Whats next for In Motion?
CB: We are already working on our next installment of the series. We have some ideas of who we want to showcase. Aarin Gates and Derek Henderson have already started killing shit for there part in Vol. 3, plus we are brainstorming on new article ideas and some re-occuring ones as well. I am really excited for Vol. 3 it is always our goal to showcase new and fresh talent. Hit me up on myspace or whatever if you want to contribute to our next video.
PO: Yeah, that's about it.
CB: Oh yeah we are working on putting out a website with a blog with updates for our videos in the future.
