Mathieu Ledoux: Be-Mag remix edit
arizona, awall, canada, james, jon x-rated, lylac boutique, mathieu ledoux, montreal, parcouring, revolution skateshop, rollerblading, stunt work, usa, yan lecomte
In April Mathieu went to Arizona to meet up with James and Jon (X-Rated) to film for his Revolution 90 seconds edit. Although Mathieu is pretty busy doing stunt work for the new TV show called 'thirteen' he found some time to create an exclusive edit for be-mag uniting some of the clips from the 90 seconds edit as well as some new footage from Montreal. As you might know already, Mathieu is and has always wanted to be a true innovator. Combining his rolling skills with his acrobatic moves taken from his parcouring experience makes him an exception in the field of rolling.

Footage by Jon (X-Rated) and Yan Lecomte
Edit by Mathieu Ledoux
The fact that Mathieu is and thinks different from most of the other people also becomes obvious when you look at the way he put together this edit. It not only contains skating, but also parcouring and some stunt scenes from a war movie he worked on in Russia called "We are from the future". Yeah, this title seems to be tailored for Mathieu's character. Innovators are ahead of the times, so is Mathieu.

I'm not hating but I'd like to see some regular skating from this guy. Mathieu is amazing and I've skated most of those spots, they are all very difficult spots. In Arizona most of the spots are weird and obscure with little to no run up or you'll find a some sort of skatestopper or knob on the rail. This is why I have respect for the creativity shown but would have liked to have seen more variety.

"SICK PEOPLE" haha, so true. I thought the movie scenes were a bit pointless until I learned it was a movie he was involved with, so fair play. I love this guy's skating - who cares what he does in contest? Let Cudot keep on his 540 trusouls, and be awesome at that, and let Ledoux keep killing everything in the weirdest cool way ever.

This guy is likely better then all of you and you know something, you should all be giving him a ton of credit for being as creative as he is. The tricks that he does actually take incredible athletic skill and innovation. Props to Mat for actually taking a step out of the box unlike anyone else out there. This guy is Dustin Latimer on steroids in my opinion and I personally hope that this is where rollerblading is leading to. Also, the editing and the song are amazing. I don't really get why any of you are hating because we are all in the same sport and we should all be supporting and loving one another. Also don't let the creative tricks fool you, he's incredible at every aspect of rollerblading but chooses to only show the creative side. Props Mat.

@dustin : forget it haha. This guy would be totally annihilated in a contest in Europe... He's creative yes, maybe (not that much since it's now more parkour/roller than the opposite) but in contest he sucks... Actually without all the fashion and style and staging... he's not that incredible. I means... he does nothing in contest... so ya... forget it... :P

Well... I don't really get it... It's A style...ok.. It's really personal but I found him a little bit gay on the side...
