This article kicks off the Be-Mag live-updates for Bitter Cold Showdown XI. We have a team of great contributors on site in Detroit that will be covering the event for you. Sam DeAngelis just sent in a few pics of the Pros warming up on the course at Modern Skatepark in Royal Oak, Michigan.

By Thursday night skaters from all over the world had made their way to Modern Skatepark in Royal Oak Michigan. Friends and fellow bladers hung out and skated the "Blade Only" Session held by the park owners between 930 and Midnight. This session gives competitors more time to prepare for the event. As the night progressed Professionals from all over began to flood the skatepark.
Here are some of the shots I took while the Pros were warming up and shredding the newly modified course!
