There are only a few rollerblading competitions in Austria. The Rollinz is by far the biggest of them all and gives rollerbladers all over the country the opportunity to meet and of course to battle each other in the nicest skatepark Austria has to offer. Rollinz 2011 went down on the 5th of March this year and the event lived up to everyones expectations and beyond!

The Rollinz 2011 brought Austria’s biggest rollerblade contest to a next level! Crazy people skated the famous Liva Skatepark in Linz which is the best skatepark in the whole country. The entire Contest was sick and all competitors were doing their best to enter the next rounds! So did the locals and also the different teams like Ignition, Razors and USD!

In the adult finals, the last skaters left where literally killing all the spots. Sanjin Hadziomerspahics did the maddest tricks you can imagine, Chaz Sands did the most stylish spins, Gabriel Hyden did the sickest X-Grind on the steepest droprail in the park (Jon Elliot style as he said, haha). Dominik Wagner won the competition with the most flawless skating you can imagine.

So, what else can I say? The Rollinz grows every year and we already plan to make the competition even bigger next time! Thank you all for making the Rollinz an unforgettable experience, thanks to the crew, to the audience and of course to all the skaters in attendance, because without you Rollinz could have never become successful!

I hope to see you there next year and don’t forget to add us to your Facebook friends, so you'll get all the information you need for further competitions in Austria like the “KFCity Cup” in Klagenfurt on the 16th of July!
