This morning was a pretty miserable rainy day in Vancouver. When I got to the shop, I wasn’t really in a mood for working for a change. So I decided to enjoy my McDonald's coffee & muffin while watching the new Traitement DVD which arrived at the shop a few days ago.

I found this movie to be one of my favorite movies in a long time. It almost feels like a documentary about rollerblading without actually being a documentary. The video has a very honest feel which shows what skating really is and what it means to us, Rollerbladers. The video really captures how a true session feels, unlike your typical skate video that only highlights the best tricks.
I found the featured skater to be extremely talented and passionate about Rollerblading. Each skater had a very defined style and personality which were well documented and presented. It made me really appreciate each skaters skating style, tricks, and spot selection.
The movie was extremely well shoot and edited. It had a very good flow with great instrumental music selection and good commentary by the skaters. The movie was pure entertainment for me and kept me glued to the screen all the way through.
This is the perfect movie for a cold rainy day. Great to watch in one piece, while alone or in a small group to avoid distractions
I would highly recommend this DVD to every Rollerblader, especially if you have been in this game for a long time.
