Wake Schepman: Drawing Lines

Tags: adam killgore, drawing lines, hunlock creek, pennsylvania, sam deangelis, scout eggs with bacon, trent olans, ufos, wake schepman

Wake Schepman isn't the future of skating he is the now. I've seen him mature over the last 3 years into one of the best up and coming bladers in our industry. Not only does his skills go beyond most skaters years older, he has the marketability and personality of a true professional. This will be obvious very soon to the masses if it isn't already.

Introduction by Adam Killgore
Photography by Sam DeAngelis
Filmed and edited by Sam DeAngelis and Trent Olans

Name:
My name is Wake Schepman

Age: I am 14 years old

Hometown: My hometown is Hunlock Creek, Pennsylvania. I was born in Utah and lived in Florida for 5 years.

Occupation: Student and Pro Rollerblader

Best lines-spot you know: One of the best spots I have ever skated is the town square in downtown Willkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. I like this spot because there are many ledges to skate and they are all practice height so I learn new tricks every time I go there.

Worst encounter while skating: I’ve been lucky, only broke my wrists a few times

Best moment in rolling… ever: My best moment in rolling ever was probably when they called my name at the awards ceremony at the AIL World Championships and said I placed 4th and that qualified me to be AIL pro when I was 12.

If you had a time machine, when and where would you travel? If I had a time machine and I was able to travel at any point in time I would probably travel back to the time when the Spartans were alive and just live with them for a few years to see how intense their training was. I would also visit the future to see when the world actually ends to where I know how much time I have left in my life and how much longer I can skate.

Favorite kitchen utensil and why: Spatula and frying pan because I like to make scout eggs and bacon for breakfast.

What would you do for $10,000? I would work hard for it, I would skate

Weirdest thing you’ve ever seen: I saw a UFO when I was filming for the Razors video

Worst date you’ve ever been on: I had just broken up with my girlfriend and went to a county fair with another girl and saw my ex there, terrible.

Top 3 places you want to visit next: I want to visit and skate in Australia. I want to visit the Amazon and I want to go to Germany.

What do you not like about yourself? One thing I don’t like about myself is when I get an idea and I start to talk about it and I will keep talking because I think that I am saying everything but I am only talking about bits and pieces of my idea.

Your plans for the future: My plans for the future are to keep rolling, work hard in school, just enjoy life to its fullest and I will hopefully be going to a lot of competitions around the world. Rollerblading has always been my life and I want to continue to improve myself to be the best Rollerblader I can be.

Yo... this is bugged out... I grew up with this kid Scott Dissick on Keeping up with the Kardashians and this kid reminds me of him back then, brings back crazy memories... dude used to have a spine mini in his backyard... pool, trampoline... not a worry in the world... ironic that it was 14 years ago as well...
I got footage of Scott in his skating days i'm gonna put online soon.. but gotta see how much TMZ will pay for it first... haha

SIck skillz

but if we want this "sport" to ever be legit we need to focus more on supporting the men who have proved themselves for years and show that they have true commitment & love for this.
