Usually ODNY wasn't suppose to cover this competition but a good friend was awesome enough to hook up the media pass. Immediately when looking at the obstacles, the NY Invitational sets it self apart from all other comps. Offering unique spots to skate like an old beat up Cadillac, constructions tubes, U-haul trailer, and a huge dumpster to name a few. Not to mention that this comp was very reminiscent of the old IMYTA competitions. The obstacles were all put together by the craftsmanship of Jose Disla & the C.O. team along with other NY locals that showed up the day of construction to support and offer a helping hand. New York owes such a great competition to the Bernal Heights Collective - a medicinal marijuana shop from San Francisco whom sponsored the events large prize.

Recognition to the minds behind all edits. All different and all achieving the goal of bringing the competition highlights and the great vibe to our screens. Special mention to the people @ UnitedWorldRolling and TopSoul... proud to be latino.
Regarding the competition itself, a lot have been said about the course and other stuff but in my opinion it deserved all recognition and admiration. NY rollers put up an awesome event, Dawn Everett presence talks by itself. Also, Budget should pay a shitload amount of money for all the unintentional advertisement.., lol

You forgot a lot of the build crew.
fish, Brian Lewis, Hakeem jimoh, Dave Mariano, and Bj Bernhardt to name a few. Shout out to them for not sleeping for a few days in order to make the course one to remember. And of course much love to D-clan, hope the planter finds an awesome home.
