Are you as excited about the new Ground Control video as we are? You probably should be. For over a decade Ground Control have been leading the pack in frame design and have become a staple in the rollerblading community. In order to commemorate the videos release we’ll be giving away three free copies in a prize raffle!
Write-up by Sean Sweeney
The film has been in production for over a year and filming has taken place across the globe including Spain, Austria, France, Latvia and Southern California. It also features over 30 skaters, from pros to unknowns. Brian Aragon, Damien Wilson, Nils Jansons and Chaz Sands are just some of the riders with full profiles.
Simon Mulvaney who directed the film said: "I really wanted to make something a bit different from the average rollerblade film. I realized that this could be my only opportunity to make my mark on this industry and wanted it to be a memorable one. With that in mind, one of the most challenging aspects of production was to create something unique, yet also familiar to its intended audience."
It sounds like a film that will be remembered for years to come, so why should you get to see it? Seriously why should you?

There was a time where I had gladly paid for love. In exchange for money had I gotten some of the finest pieces of VHasS: multiple VGs, Underestimated and numerous other Team Videos. Each one pleased me, some of them over and over again. I remember being together with VG 12 for over a hundred times. It never seemed to get old, I was always horny for it. But at some point things changed. But with the internet millions of hoes like „random p-rail edits“started offering their services online for free. I soon had gotten used to those quickies online, forgetting about how nice those classy ladies were you had to pay for. I’ll testify: I have gone through numerous of those free whores online, each one of them only lasting a couple of minutes at the most. The free ones that would last longer were old, dried out ladies like “Hoax 1”.In their prime astonishing goddesses that got paid by many kids to show them everything. But they had grown old and although still nice to look at, couldn’t get my skate juices to flow anymore. Then things changed: A buyable young, attractive looking lady that went by the name of „Game Theory“ started laying her luscious eyes on me. After turning me on for over an entire year I was willing to pay any price to get her, blindly believing she‘d keep her promises of satisfying my needs. How that bitch fucked me over! (To be fair Aragon was amazing). I had sworn to myself to never fall for a seductress like her again, but now the „GC DVD“ showed up, and I again am tempted, yet scared my heart and high expectations ( but manly my fragile heart) will be broken again by her revealing to be a gold digging skank like „Game Theory“. Nothing would prove her love to me more than her coming over to my place, not for money, but simply because she loves me. Be-Mag, please make that shit happen.

There is no reason i should get this video over anyone els who is commenting, because i can lie and bag, but i want this video because im a young aspiring blader who looks to these videos for insperation. Because i have watched every video ive ever had several times. Because i have a bunch of friends that are beginner rollerbladers that i share all the videos i get with. Also from the second pair of frames ive bought (first being the stock razors) ive bought 5 pair of frames over the last three years. I want an opportunity to be inspired, motivated and overall give back to the local community. Thank you for considering me. (ps. i liked on facebook).

deserve it? not hardly. it would be nice to get a copy. been blading for 15 years. i love showing blading to my friends that dont blade. a friend of mine got a copy of the video and its amazing. times have been hard but i've always helped out other bladers when i could. helped with old skates, frames, wheels, whatever. trying to keep blading alive. our local scene has went from around 300+ (people that i knew) to about 15 of us that still blade regularly.

I've been skating for a little over four years, and started with GC frames, tried everything in the business, but have stuck with them and continue to skate my formula 1's with zero complaints. My best friend and partner in skating, just dislocated his knee skating a ledge near the local college here, and had to have reconstructive surgery on his knee and we need some entertainment for all these days we'll be locked inside and listening to him bitch about his knee! I rep GC fully in everything you guys do, and this would just put you guys over the top!
