Grindhouse in Barcelona: Daniel Gourski

When I first heard my teammate Maik was planning a tour, I couldn't wait for it. Especially when he told me how he'd already booked tickets to Barcelona. Only a few weeks before, me and my good friend Eugen Enin had already paid a visit to the very same amazing City. What can I say? I fell in love with the place and was obviously well juiced to go back! Ever since I became a member of the Grindhouse team I've wanted to experience one of the legendary GH-tours! Being the lucky rascal that I am, I eventually ended up visiting Barcelona twice last year.

Obviously I can't go into detail on every single one of my memories, but would like to share some of my personal highlights. I really enjoyed escaping my everyday life and joining a crazy crowd of talented skaters to shred the finest spots in Europe. Skating in Barcelona was great but also very exhausting due to the heat. Besides that, we had some trouble getting our filming done. Either some security guard got in our way or we simply couldn't figure out a proper shot agenda – thus deciding whom to film first at what spot. Looking back at everything and after checking the footage, I'm pretty satisfied. We actually tried to make a use of our time in Barca and skate all day long. But that doesn't mean we rested at night!

Besides partying hard from dusk till dawn, Maik and I went night-skating, too. On one occasion – with a beer in one and the GoPro in the other hand – we tried to find a spot which the powerhouse guys showed Eugen and me during our last stay. To our big surprise we found it. Plus a few other great ones resulting in a bunch of clips like the ao porn trough the curved rail in the video. That must have been around 3 or 4 am. You know you've had a blast when you actually lose track of time. On a different note: I was pretty amazed to learn that Daniel Prell a.k.a Eddie Mcaine le redacteur en chef, is a really talented iPad-DJ. Book him and he will blow up the club!

I would like to thank Grindhouse, the team, as well as all my other sponsors and especially my friends!

-Daniel Gourski
