Be-Mag has teamed up with Grindhouse and Rollerblade to bring you yet another skate raffle. This time we're hooking up one lucky Be-magger with a complete RB Sven Boekorst 2012 blade that are equipped with new Blank Frames, new harder/faster soul plates and 60mm/88a wheels. If you're an avid Rollerblade skater or just want to give them a try out of curiosity it's worth your while to enter this contest. And who doesn't love free blades? Why would you even want a blade from Sven? In the immortal words of legend Ryan Jacklone, "What's that kids name? Sven? He's ill. He tried to do some super ill spin to some super ill topside trick. My "leg doesn't go this way" trick." If you want to do that trick, listen to the Riggler and enter this contest.

Yup, you got this right, we're collaborating with Grindhouse to give away one (1) pair of Rollerblade Solo Estilo 'Sven Boekhorst' pro skates. Big deal! Now, what do you have to do to get your hands on these babies? It really is simple, just look at the following, then get to work:
Please explain why you should win the Sven Boekhorst RB signature skates!

May 26th, 2012 @ 05:40 - by Tim
I agree. It is sad that you keep extending the time when I took a lot of time out to really think about what I was going to write. ALSO, I END UP WRITING THE WHOLE THING AND AT THE BOTTOM IT SAYS ONLY FOR THE "EU". IF IT WAS HIGHLIGHTED IN A OBVIOUS PLACE I WOULD UNDERSTAND BUT IT WASN'T, SO THE SKATES SHOULD GO TO THE MAN, OR WOMAN, WHO WROTE THE MOST CREATIVE ENTRY; ALSO, IT SHOULD GO TO SOMEONE WHO WROTE IT WITHIN A TIMELY MANNER.

Why do you keep prolonging the 'contest'.. I think that's unfair and you should stop doing that. Pick someone out and conclude this attention-drawing phenomenon.

Some skateboarder thought it would be funny to take a shit in my skates. I ended up throwing them away in embarrassment as spaghetti shot out of my pockets.

I already wrote something but here is the short version if you did not get it. Anybody who rollerblades, or is a integral part of our industry has earned the right to these rollerblades for the following reason:Since rollerblading is a very small subculture, we all rollerblade because we love rollerblading at the core and we are not motivated by mainstream media, friends, family etc.; we just love to rollerblade. Therefore, although there is nothing that makes me unique in comparison to other rollerbladers because we are all unique, I can say there is one thing that stands out: I never needed motivation to skate. I never needed videos, friends or the media to tell me that rollerblading was fun. From the beginning, rollerblading was integrally linked to my path and future, and i have not looked back over the past 15-16 years with regret. I have sustained a couple of the most dreaded injuries that would make most rollerbladers, or extreme sport enthusiasts in general, question whether to tread forward, but I kept skating. Yet this does not make me deserve skates over others does it? Maybe , but what I can say is that the reason I deserve these rollerblades is because over the past fifteen years I have never needed a reason to go skate other than for the fact that I love it. The only thing that has stopped me from rollerblading in the past was one integral part: not having rollerblades. When I first got into rollerblading my parents were unwilling to buy me some. At the age of 12, my parents questioned if rollerblading would be a short faze, but luckily, my cousin threw away his Tarmacs that were absolutely destroyed. With his K2 Backyard bobs, he was throwing away his tarmacs, and it did not even occur to him to give them to me because they were absolutely wrecked: The Buckle on both the skates was broken, there was a hole on the right sole part of the boot from his soul grinds on rough ledges, and the frames were completely worn away. My cousin was shocked when he found out that I was thrilled to take them off his hands.... and out of his trash. Why did I take a pair of skates that were almost unskateable, because I was hooked before I even started. Since then I have gone through almost every brand of rollerblades a roller could have, and I am currently skating the rollerblade skate. I have been skating for so long that when the new rollerblade skate came out it was the first time, except for the xjado skates, that I actually saw something new, original etc. I liked the idea of skates with bigger wheels than other skates. After comparing them with other skates there is one distinguishable factor: the new rollerblade skates are so smooth that almost every small rock, crack in the cement and sketchy area of skate parks are smooth because of the bigger wheels. The speed, fluidity and overall flow that the new rollerblade skates have are what makes them unique. Therefore, after looking at Svens skates, I would be proud to represent rollerblade, and Sven, because he deserved his own skate years ago. i have +1ed and thousands of American rollerbladers would like this skate so writing about the Eu is a lesson in futility to me I would love to represent these skates
