The first thing that comes to mind when most bladers think about Amsterdam is the IMYTA. It's been seven years since the last event, and after months of preparation the streets of the Dutch city will once again be the stage for a Real Street Amsterdam. With confirmed riders such as Jacob Juul, Tyron Ballantine and Daniel Prell, all new spots and a great team of judges the contest is a must-go for Europe's bladers!
For those not familiar with street contests in Amsterdam, I suggest a quick YouTube search for the several IMYTA edits over the years. And don't forget the Real Street contests organised by the infamous Gijs Piss and his crew. Think hundreds of skaters, crazy spots, even crazier tricks and afterparties that will be remembered for life.
Keeping in line with the famous heritage, the team behind the Real Street Amsterdam 2013 has put together a contest on three of the freshest spots in Amsterdam, located close to each other in the relatively unknown Northern part of the city. Fresh spots, a good weather forecast and an already large rider-list should make for a perfect day of blading in the city.
The judges of the competition, Hans Hardonk, Dick Heerkens and Bartosz Beller
After the blading is done, it's on to the Bitterzoet for an awesome afterparty with all the riders and bladers.
So if you have the weekend off, make some time and come to Amsterdam to join the Real Street Amsterdam 2013!
Of course Be-Mag will also be present at the contest to bring you the best photos and the official edit after the event.
