What do you know about marriages? Hmm nothing? Well I don’t know anything either, all I know is that you always have a big party with you best friends the weekend before you get marry your girl. That was what I did the night before I drove the car to Switzerland Zuerich on the Grindhouse tour. We met at seven in the morning and well it was not that easy for me to stay awake and get us there safe but I did it.

So we met at twelve with the local skaters at the main trainstation and drove to a curbspot called Technopark. There everybody tried to skate, but as it was even to hot to take pics so we got bottles water and tried to find some shadowy places. There are some really sick skaters around Zuerich, of course you know the Swiss Connection, but have you ever heard of Beat Schillmeier? No? Well you should have because he is pulling off the craziest tricks!!! So he ripped the flat ledge there in a nice session with Alex Rudolf, Möly, Smith, Bruno and Lepszy. After some liters of water later we moved to another spot with a mellow droprail Smith saw and wanted to skate. After some minutes we had a nice session running, Smith did Topsoul and 270 Backroyal after slamming a true Miszou. I saw some people watching us and thought they would have already called the police, like usually. Well they didn’t, instead one guy came, brought a 100 pack of lighters and ?Weed? – damn shit you can’t imagine something like this!!! I don´t know if this made Schillmeier skate harder but he killed the droprail with Sweatstance, front torque and FASTSLIDE...........

Möly tried to keep up this high level and as he did front Savannah he slammed and cracked his finger that ugly that we had to call an ambulance. So we quit the session there and moved to another spot where we lost two cars, because they broke down in the hot traffic jam because of stop and go. Some hours later we had everybody + the L300 crew with Mathias Silhan and Laurent Calame with us in front of the nice dropledge Cosimo does in Clip3. Schillmeier warmed up with some fullcab true miszou stuff, while Mathias did Fishbrain, Bruno did Ao Soyal and Smith worked hard to get a true Kindgrind (20 tries later he busted it). After two hours a police car arrived to tell us we should not skate over the street but we can stay there. That was perfect for us as we had the perfect session running with Schillmeier doing Ao Fish, Mathias Back Backslide and Stephan de Freitas finished the session with 180 down the whole way. As we moved to our cars Lepszy saw his chance to skate the ledge on his own with his new USD skate and so he finished an almost perfect day doing Ao Topsoul down. Everybody moved to another flatrail spot to chill there and go out for party but we decided to go back to munich as my fitness condition became worse from minute to minute........

I really loved it there but I think next year we should go to some other city such as Luzern or Basel – there are many many nice cities around there.
