Tags: a-mall, b-unique, cali, eulogy, gonzo, gonzo jacquez, kizer, la, los angeles, usd

I am skating the New Aaron Feinberg Classis thrones with Kizer Fluid 3 Team Frames and Eulogy Gonzo wheels flat. I am skating these skates because classic thrones are the best skates ever made...

What style of clothes you prefer and which brands you like to rock?

Umm I wear loose fitting clothes but my clothes are not big. I basically just wear levis or khakis and a skate shirt. B Unique most of the time.

What skate setup are you currently skating and why?

I am skating the New Aaron Feinberg Classis thrones with Kizer Fluid 3 Team Frames and Eulogy Gonzo wheels flat. I am skating these skates because classic thrones are the best skates ever made. The new Kizer fluid frames are perfect for skating flat and eulogy just has the best wheels hands down.

churock you're retarded. skating flat is for kings only. you can't handle it obviously. i skate flat and i'll backslide the fattest rail you can find. and i'll murk you on ledges. also jay z is the man above all others you douche.

good answers, now i understand. and that makes sense for gonzo, who does the lowest sickest boot tricks the world has ever known

word, i like the old souls better too,
theyre better for switch ups IMO
and they look better

We love Gonzo!

from my own experience i would say that a the smaller soulplate means you can flex over more onto the boot on ledges, which means that a flat setup still works well and the wheels dont catch.

Smaller soulplate, more flexed and low you have to get on your tricks, less chance of stick.

Props to Gonzo for being a great pro.

well i skate thrones, ufs right now, and had classics before that (since 98 actually), and i skate flat. But my question is, what is the benefit of the old souls compared to the new ones. in my opinion the new ones are a complete improvement over the old. Does anyone have some insight? its obviously his personal preference, im just wondering why?

and what color are the souls on the skate pictured? they look like the same color as the skate, which i thought was "olive green"

Its not difficult you pansy ass. I dont prefer it, but its just different. It easier to land and get speed, but you have to concentrate a little more on locking in the groove in the right spot. I just like skating xjsado frame or freestyle frames cause cause I can go plenty fast and I am usually too high to worry about rubber wheels being close to where I am trying to put the rail. And people did hard tricks with old skates all the time back in the day. Why would you think you could no longer do a trick with a sole plate you've done the trick many times with just because there is a bigger sole plate out? And where the fuck is there a picture of olive green sole plates? Jay z is hella gay.

because you like the old ones more...why people skate the UFS Throne and some the Classic...same with Razors...everyone likes different shit...and so on...Gonzo also likes to keep his setup the same I would say and not changing his setup every month...perhaps that is the point, why he is that good...

props to Gonzo...always good times with him...

October 20th, 2006 @ 14:40 - by Emperor Emperor

yeah but why would he remove the new souls, and replace them with the old ones?

October 20th, 2006 @ 10:46 - by ibepokin555 ibepokin555

it depends on preferences, maybe for him is just pure love to skate this setup and dont have any thoughs like "difficult skating with the old things". very stylish grinds ;)

October 20th, 2006 @ 10:24 - by Emperor Emperor

and since when do they even make the old souls in olive green?

October 20th, 2006 @ 10:22 - by Emperor Emperor

haha its like hes making it as hard as possible for himself. skating flat, with a "downgraded" liner, and the old souls.

October 20th, 2006 @ 09:38 - by faberji faberji

yeah i'm a Throne classic fan to! the best skates ever made, but gonzo skate on wheels flat and with old soulplate, it's amazing! really difficult to skate with this setup.
