Blade Comedy Jam

Tags: blade comedy jam, martinho, norcal, tommy boy

There are a lot of haters in the blade game that player hate on the Aggressive Laughing Association. They say we don’t take the blade game seriously. They say we are unprofessional, or that our representatives are always blacked out at blading events and hitting on their “bitches” or that we don’t time the rounds properly or that the A.L.A. continues the round even as senior citizens are walking down the stairs.

While these player haters / baller blockers are right on the mark/completely correct, there is an even more important contention to erect that supersedes any sort of blocking/hating. This is that all ALA employees are ridiculously good looking. They work out several times a day doing both cardio and free weight training while wearing competitive weight training gear. When it really comes down to it do you work out that much?

Hit the gym bitch.

On January 13th, 2007 at 1:00 pm, the first Aggressive Laughing Association event that is not in San Francisco will go down. This is the first Blade Comedy Jam that dares to go to other places in California, this is the first Blade Comedy Jam that is galactic, year 8000 style, truly from the future: this is the first Blade Comedy Jam in South San Francisco.

While you would have been better off shooting your overweight self with a flare gun in a bathtub filled with kerosene than have been the last A.L.A. competition, our newest competition Blade Comedy Jam 30000000000000000000 & ½ is about to change the way you view competitions, the future of competitions as well as the future of the world, as well as the future of run-on-sentences.

Blade Comedy Jam 30000000000000000000000000000000 & ½ is not about impressing people with how many lanyards you can wear, or how many long chains you can have attached to your wallet. It is about impressing people with 900 sidewalks and double daffy airs.

Pay attention to the official real time live motion graphics A.L.A. website at http://www.myspace.com/aggressivelaughing for details as to where the first spot is and also don’t forget to check www.be-mag.com for further updates. And please - don’t forget: If your not aggressive laughing, your recreationally laughing (and probably wearing a bike helmet and full pads in the process)

Peep game on these Brandon Smith photos from the last A.L.A. event, the Shock Style Fashion Modeling Competition. (Notice Mike Martinho pulling the A.L.A. signature move on you sucker-made hoes)

Its about time we see more comedy in rollerblading. I sorta lived the life of thinking I was "too cool for school" but I got past that now I skate to laugh really, its been an amazing transition. Reading this article made me laugh, I do of course want in on these shenanigans. I'll talk with ya on myspace someday....it may as well be soon.

If anyone is gonna hate on me have all the fun you want, seriously. HAVE FUN and grow up...they can both be done at once as I've learned
