Setup & Music Session: Daniel Prell

Tags: daniel prell, grindhouse, kizer, setup and music session, undercover, usd

I'm skating a customized USD Classic Throne Allstar 07 in size 42 with a USD legacy liner. A small Kizer Daniel Prell frame - antirocker setup: Daniel Prell Undercover wheels and Richie Eisler Undercover grindwheels with Powerslide black rain...

What setup are you skating right now and what you like about that setup?

I'm skating a customized USD Classic Throne Allstar 07 in size 42 with a USD legacy liner. A small Kizer Daniel Prell frame - antirocker setup: Daniel Prell Undercover wheels and Richie Eisler Undercover grindwheels with Powerslide black rain bearings.
My skates fit very well - some call them tight. I like the feeling that the skate is close to my feet, I think that gives me more control, that's why I'm skating the legacy liner because it’s super thin. That Kizer is the best frame brand out there doesn’t have to be mentioned... Well I mentioned it just in case that some of you didn’t know it yet...

What kind of clothes do you wear?

The ones I like and consider good looking - you may call me fashion victim, I got like 45 pair of shoes, 3 hats, 50 caps, ...sometimes I wear more tight pants sometimes wider ones, depends on my mood but I've stopped wearing the really big stuff...If you meet me on a party I might look totally different than during skating - or I might look exactly like during skating. I’m changing my clothing style quiet often but never with the current fashion cause I think individuals should have an individual style. I don’t want to look like most people, having the same trendy haircut and buying the same clothes at H&M... that’s poor. But on the other side were all wearing the same shit - every time you put on pants its just pants no matter what size or colour... And of course I wear a lot of rollerblading brands because I’m fucking proud to be a rollerblader!!!

What are your 8 Favourite music artists?

That’s a difficult one. Most of the time you buy a CD and it contains only one good song, there are not many artists with more than one or two good songs out there but the following ones definitely know how to make good music:

-. The White Stripes
-. Arctic Monkeys
-. Metallica
-. 2 Many Dj`s
-. Chuck Berry
-. The Offspring
-. The Misfits
-. The Beach Boys

Tell us 8 Favourite songs you got in your most played play list right now?

in no specific order:
-. Arctic Monkeys - Love Machine
-. Bloc Party - The Prayer
-. Johnny Cash - Personal Jesus
-. Bob Dylan - The Story of Hurricane Carter
-. Chemical Brothers - Hey Boy Hey Girl
-. Corey Hart - I wear my sunglasses at night
-. Disturbed - Down with the sickness
-. Foreigner - Juke Box Hero

Hey D, aren't you working for Grindhouse these days? If so I would like to extend my personal thanks to the great free publicity you have so graciously given to ShopKaput in your review of the Grindhouse DVd in Be-mag issue #22. A whole spread just about us! Really, you are too kind!

Not everyone is skating the old ones...Sean Kelso is ripping with the news ones as money others do...I think only Rachard and Gonzo are skating the old ones...

HEY YEAH!!!!!
I've just buyed you'r USD classic throne and you'r kizer fluid frame!!
I want to ask you something, Why the fuck maybe all USD riders that skate with classic throne use the old soul??
I will buy them in the conference shop, but I think that the new ones isn't soo bad, but if maybe all you riders use the old ones, it must be for something. I wanna taste both souls.
anyway, nice review!
