"All the Tokyo rain had forced us to find undercover spots, and we got word of a spot with some banks and bumps underneath a bridge. The only problem was that nobody knew exactly how to get there. We took a train to downtown, then a car to an AMPM, then started our hike. We thought it would be maybe about a mile or so, but after an hour of walking everybody was on their cell phone trying to get directions, and there was no spot in sight. The next hour the spot would be "right around the corner", and sometime into the 3rd hour and 7th mile of the hike we finally came across the spot.
The spot was good, not sure if it was worth that kind of trek, but now that we were there we would make the most of it for sure. After shooting a few other tricks around the same spot, Alex really wanted to shoot this bump. It's actually a sketchy bump, like somebody just pooped out some concrete and didn't bother making the transitions smooth. Regardless, Alex finds a way to boost it. We had come across some random items under this bridge, including dozens of doll heads and a tricycle. Horseman was tired from galloping all day, so he just ran the follow cam on the tricycle, the shot was taken, and a rainy gray day in Tokyo turned into a cover."

"It's been half way through the tour and it's was raining since the first day. All we've done were sightseeing, photoshopping Bailey on drop rails in Japan and horsing around (you'll see what I'm talking about in the new video). The guys were eager to get some footage so I asked Shintaro to take everyone to the "rain spot" that he knew of under the highway. I had school or something to do that day so I wasn't able to go with everyone, but when I came back later that day, Jero was retouching the all the photos on his laptop (as he was doing EVERY day on the tour!) and showed me the pic. I heard that they walked for miles and miles to the spot and it wasn't much of a spot, so they decided to get a little "creative" with it.
I guess enough rain days and a rather "dissapointing" spot brings out the horseman and Alex to make out the most out of a little bump under the highway, making the best cover shot.
Personally I think this is the cover everyone was hoping for, especially the horseman himself.
Alex-san, stale japan air in Japan w/ UMA-san"

we chose this shot, because of the story and the whole arrangement and how you can make something out of a seemingly "unworthy" spot.
and yes you will see the japanese be-mag tour footage on the dvd, we just finished editing that, so watch out.
