For the Winterclash 2007 we have upgraded last year’s concept and made a lot of improvements. There will be more booths, more seats, checkrooms, sleeping possibilities at the contest area and the first official Winterclash Aftershow Party...
The first ever Winterclash took place in January 2005 and nobody knew what to expect from this event. Surprisingly this event was an immediate success.
Rollerbladers from all over Germany and it’s neighbouring countries came to enjoy a weekend full of fun. Special contests like the UCON Most Creative Trick Contest, the Grindhouse Cash 4 Trick Contest and the Roces Shout Out Loud Contest rounded of the event and brought something new to the somehow boring world of contests. 2006 the Winterclash went into it’s second round.
Some time before the event was held you could see that it would be enormously big. Rollerbladers from most European countries confirmed to come and new skaters signed in for the competition on a daily basis. Three weeks before the Winterclash you could not get a single hotel room or just a bed in the whole city of Mühlhausen/Germany.
Rollerbladers from all over the world had taken over an entire city.
This was the time when even a fool could see that the Winterclash would be something special. And that’s what it was. Almost 800 rollerbladers from 24 different countries came to Mühlhausen. Together we created an event which’s atmosphere and size was almost unmatched. Video premiers, booths, special contests and some other attractions made this weekend something special. After the event came to an end a lot of people were calling the Winterclash the biggest event in Europe, if not in the whole world, since the famous Lausanne.
The Winterclash is not about promoting companies, TV coverage, money or full tribunes and securities which keep you away from the action. The Winterclash is about rollerbladers from all over the world which want to enjoy a weekend full of rollerblading, parties and other fun stuff. The Winterclash is there to show what rollerblading is able to do with people and the atmosphere, the meeting of a lot of different nations is what it’s all about.
For the Winterclash 2007 we have upgraded last year’s concept and made a lot of improvements. There will be more booths, more seats, checkrooms, sleeping possibilities at the contest area and the first official Winterclash Aftershow Party at the contest area. This party will be bigger and better than everything you have ever seen before and will perfect for finishing this event. The Winterclash 2007 is almost here. So pack your bags, book a sleeping place and take care to be there in time. Only with the help of YOU the Winterclash is what we want it to be: The most special and biggest meeting of rollerbladers in the entire world.
