We got the exclusive behind the scenes info for this year's Ucon catalogue. Here is what Jochen Smuda has to say about the catalogue:

This year we went to the gym and turned a trampoline into a catwalk.Shooting for a catalog every year is one of the absolut highlights for us.First you have this idea how it should look like, and then you begin to work on this idea step by step - until you have the finished product in your hand after so many months of work, which is really an unbelievable feeling.

Some people called us "crazy" because it's not common in our industry to produce a 70 page high-class catalogue and ti print it, but we did this because we think that this is a great way to represent rollerblading. A sport is being defined and shaped through a lot of things, one of them is definitly clothing, and so we do our best to outdo other brands from different sports in this section. We are proud to show this catalogue to friends, new shops, distribution companies and magazines all over the world which are not connected with our style of rollerblading. And so we hope to let rollerblading look as good as it should. If you like the way how we represent it, please also show the catalogue to your family, friends and shops you would like to see rollerblading brands in.

Jochen I'm ashamed that you think this is how the rollerblading community should be represented. Balls and assholes! FUCK YEAH sell me a tee shirt! I truly believe you've lost touch. Your Fired. I'm with Tim. Ucon is flawless. Everything from the team, to the clothing to the presentation is 100%

Plus they have the only REAL girls line of any company in rollerblading.
