Hey AJ, the new jeans are about to drop, so can you give us a little run down on the special features of these jeans?

The jeans are fairly simple. 97% cotton and 3% spandex make them stretchy, yet these are a heavier weight jean then the JD1's. Better constructed pocket bags have a milled print that won't wash off. Equiped also with a better quality patch and buttons to ensure they won't pop off. There is a small hole at the bottom of every belt loop for a shoestring to go so as to act like a belt. And these jeans are a bit smaller fitting at the cuffs then the JD1's.

Your tag says that you are the jeans company that took 2 years to make a jean, how do you feel about that?

I feel excited about that because I know that nobody else would have even kept the company going facing the adversity we did. I lost over $5,000.00 with the company the first go around and felt pretty jaded afterward. Then when Alex and I re-invested in the company I went to jail for 9 months. Given all that it is a miracle that we are still around. I just need to thank the team for sticking with us through all the bullshit because they are about to reap the bennefits of riding for a clothing company that pays them.

What else do you have planned for this year?

We will be releasing signature jeans for the pros in an effort to get them more money to keep them from working at Starbucks. Also once the 4X4 video is done we are going to do a tour of the US and make the first Vibralux Denim Video in hi-def.

How is work on the Vibralux team video?

Well I got the camera, the conversion van, and the talent. Now all I need is them to fulfill their other obligations. It isn't fair to make them film for 2 videos at once, I would rather they all put their hearts into 4X4 because everyone knows who those dudes ride for.

When are you going to release the Chris Farmer pro jeans?

Production on these got pushed back since we want our first signature model to be better then anything we have ever done. We are going to run a few extra samples on this item so we are looking at a mid-October/early-November release date.

How did you come up with the idea to release Chris Farmer pro jeans?

It was a logical step to get our pro riders money, we chose him to be the first because in the history of rollerblading there hasn't been as much talk about someones pants as Farmer's.

What are your next planned jeans after that?

Probably the Haffey blue jean and the Broskow cords. It is really up to them on what they want to do. Farmer designed his jean on his own with Morris doing the art and me and Alex looking over his shoulder. Haffey has a sick blue jean in mind and I think Alex wants to do something different.

Any last words?

Thanks to the Broskow, Farmer, Haffey, Lilly, Collins, Wheeler, Morris, Jero, Todd, Matty, Watson, Negrete, the shops, my roomies, and ALL THE SKATERS WHO SUPPORT, and all the skaters who talk shit. Without the yes-men and the ney-sayers we wouldn't be here. Look out for the new shit this August and October and by this time next year expect even bigger things from Vibralux Denim.
