To be the best you must always believe that there is more to accomplish, that there is always room for improvement, that previous achievements can and will be superseded. Those on top of their game in any industry don’t want to hear about how good they are, they want to focus on getting even better, rather than wasting time patting themselves on the back.

Personally I will never understand what it’s like to be on this level. I’m a jack off. Erik pisses me off because if he wasn’t so humble I could have written this intro about something more entertaining such as midgets dressed like Batman that have sex with animals. But I have to tell you about just how good Erik is simply because he would never say it. Erik Bailey is one of the best rollerbladers in the history of the sport. Erik is so fucking good at rollerblading that he makes some of the best pro’s in the world feel like they’re past it. It only takes one look at a clip of him doing outspin disaster 360 sweatstance first try to understand what I’m saying.

erik bailey and i do the exact same tricks and the exact same spinning tricks which is why i instantly loved his skating

unfortunately if i do one of these tricks on a knee high ledge he will do them at 90 mph on a huge drop off death ledge in barcelona with swimming sharks on the other side and flesh eating bears.
