Ben Schwab was a huge fan of the UK music scene and culture, especially everything hailing from my hometown of Manchester. So he payed me a visit for a few weeks, where we shot a few photos, drank a lot more alcohol, played even more guitar. This zero spin back royale shot is a still I did before shooting a sequence thats in my Be-mag photo issue profile.

One of the things about this is that there's a building in the background thats the title of a 'Smiths' album 'Strangeways Here We Come', its a maximum security prison, once Ben heard this it was all the motivation he needed to skate the spot. Here he is playing guitar with Oli Short outside my friend Al's house in the student area of Manchester.

I'd never been to San Francisco before, the most northerly point id ever been to in the states is Vegas. So spending 2 weeks with Erik Bailey and his roomies was a total 'pull'. All i wanted to do was shoot photos with awesome backdrops, especially Alcatraz as I was a huge fan of the movie 'The Rock' as a kid, so this shot of a truspin wallride 180 revert out almost worked besides the tree slightly blocking out the former prison.

Erik also seen here looking over downtown with his roomie Pat Lennon.

Demetrious George I had never met before, but like all skaters he was top lad, with the biggest hops I'd ever seen. He had been filming with Connor O'Brien for an upcoming section so they headed down to Mission Viejo area of the OC to hang out and skate. Here he is skating the infamous marblehead spot with disaster over the wall to topsoul, which he went onto topacid'ing.

In my print profile you see Spain's Marc Enanoh Moreno front farving someone's front garden rail in East LA, here is chilling with Brandon Negrette who had been filming him for 3 weeks for his next video.

Marcus Benavides has the ankles you wish you had, allowing for the upmost amount of style to be put into any trick. This tts on some home made cupboard ledge in San Diego is set right besides a shot I did of Jeff Stockwell in my profile, where he uses the natural launch to do something else. Go buy the mag to see what it was.

I think Erik Ski Perkett is the only skater I don't become petrified with when shooting gaps. This was some church in the Esco area which he 540'd a few days ago whilst filming with Mark Trebble for the BHC 'Corporate Killers' DVD, but wanted to go back and zero spin, unlike the 540 he did first attempt, this was a few down the line.
