The date is set and it is official that the Amateur Inline League will be holding it’s World Championships event right here in Tehachapi, CA September 26-28, 2008. The Amateur Inline league is the largest Amateur Circuit in the world for Inline stunt skaters. This event is expecting competitors from all over the world!

The AIL World Championships will be held at the premier sports camp, Woodward West, in Tehachapi, CA. The facilities are amazing and offer the AIL the opportunity to host a 5 star event in one of the best facilities in the world! A huge thank you goes out to Woodward for supporting us and believing in our sport.

The AIL is making sure that this years championships event is huge and has a lot to offer to the up & coming amateurs out there. The weekend will not only be full of great skating and fun, it will allow inliners of all ages & skill to come together to create a weekend of memories they will NEVER forget! The World Championships event will:

·       Name a World Champion in 8 different categories:

o      Beginners

o      10-15 yr old Intermediate

o      10-15 yr old Advanced

o      16 yrs old & up Intermediate

o      16 yrs old & up Advanced

o      Girls Invitational

o      Vert beginner

o      Vert Advanced

·       Include an amazing award banquet to highlight the year & competitors

·       Provide every competitor with the largest goodie bag of the year

·       Award 2 free weeks of camp (1-Woodward East, 1-Woodward West)

·       Highlight the girls in the industry by hosting a female division (open to all girls from beginner to Pro level)

·       Reward the Vert Advanced & 16 yrs old & up Advanced with CUSTOM made electric guitars from ST. Blues guitars

·       Qualify the Top 10- (16 yrs old & up advanced winners) to compete against the PRO’s for $5,000 at AIL’s PRO INVITATIONAL!

LIVE BROADCAST
The AIL Will be broadcasting the event live on Saturday for the Awards Banquet from 7pm till 10 pm and on Sunday for the Pro Contest from 10am till 3pm
