Who is Jefferson Santana???

My name is Jefferson Santana, i am from Sao Paolo, Brazil.

I started skating at 16 with my first skates from a supermarket…I used to practice kung-fu, karate…but then skating took over my life and I have never regretted it for a minute. In Brazil I grew up skating with Angelo, Camillo and Pianowski.

Pianowski taught me to conquer my fears and take skating to the next level, we would just battle at every spot, and the only trick that counted was the first one to land their trick…

Two years ago I moved to Spain, Malaga and met 2 skaters, Migue and Uani, who introduced me to the Spanish scene, and soon I had the great opportunity of discovering Barcelona for myself, where soon I met Oli Benet who offered me a place on Deshi. I accepted as I saw the big plans the brand had for the future. I’m in love with Deshi and it is going to stay that way.

Now I want to stay and make a name for myself here in Europe, this is just the start, the name “Jefferson Santana” (Rosca to his closest friends) is about to spread like fire…

Skates and Clothing

Right now I’m skating the new Deshi CH1, White Dualplates, Kizer Chino frames, Oli Benet 2 Undercover Wheels. I love these skates because they are really light and flexible, but much stronger and supportive than the older models which gives me a lot of confidence, also because I find them so comfortable…plus they are absolutely beautiful!!
