Behind the Scene: What has Jacob Juul been up to? - 07/08/08

Hey Jacob, what have you been up to lately?

I have summer holidays right now so I have been travelling as much as I could ! I just came home from the Ignition bbq where I had so much fun with all my best friends from Europe.

You just changed your skatesponsor. What s the reason for choosing Remz?

Last year Kato, Haffey and Morales whent to Copenhagen to visit Tom Alqvist. And I came out skating with them one day. Kato asked me if I would like to try the Remz, and it was exactly what I waned to and a month after he sent me a pair.

How was the Scandinavian tour together with all these idiots? Good memories?

Good memories for sure!!! I think it was one of the most funniest tours I ever have been on! The two first days was a little strange, because I didn’t know all the guys that while. But after our first travelling from Stockholm to Oslo where we was partying in the car, maybe a little to much hehe, we all talked like best buddies to each other .

What are you doing for living? Still in school, hard work or maybe you are an overpaid rollerblader?

I m studying in High school, and just moved from my parents to a little apartment with my best friend Emil. I m definitely not an overpaid rollerblader!

How are Copenhagen / Denmark for skating? Spots and scene wise?

The spots are okay, but we don’t have that many so I m often choosing the local skatepark when I skating. The scene is really small but I like it because everybody is buddies!

It looks like you having hard fun while you’re skating. But what makes you happy the most? Events or small sessions with your buddies?

Hehe, yea people say it to me pretty often when I m skating. I just think it s cause I like to skate so much, but I think when I m skating with my homies or people I now really good, that s always there I have the most funniest sessions!

When can we expect the next Jacob Juul section? Are you filming for any projects?

Hopefully in the next Ignition DVD

Any other plans in the near future?

I m really planning this year to be more focus on my school.

What is missing in your skating life right now? Anything planned which didn’t worked out yet?

Nothing really, I m very thankful for all those guys there are helping me out with my skating life right now, sometimes it s a little hard for me to work thinks out in my school, because of skating.

What s the best place you’ve visited because of rollerblading so far?

I think it s the Ignition Valley; I have been there for the two last bbq parties and it have been so much fun both times! But I think almost every places I have visited because of rollerblading have been cool.
