Music and Setup Session: Mikey Blair - 08/01/23

Mr. Blair, introduce yourself to all the Be-Mag readers:

Well to all the readers who don't know me let me introduce myself. I’m Michael aka (Mikey) Blair I’m 20 years of age and I’m from Grand Rapids, Michigan. I skate for SIXWONSIX and just got on a little skate company called DESHI. I have been skating for about 8 ish years now and I love rolling with a passion.



What's your current skate setup right now, and why did you choose what you have?

My current joints at the moment are the new krispy/shiny white and black patent leather Deshi kicks. I’m rolling them with the black two piece USD soul plates that make the skates light as a feather. Under my feet I have some Kizer black team element frames that I’m riding flat on some Chimera wheels. I got this setup because Deshi's are slick and they feel gggrrrreat. I was hesitant about the frames at first but they changed my mind they ride smooth and grind the same way. So I skate this setup because it has all that I want out of a skate.


What would you change about your setup if you could?

If I could change anything about my setup It might be........I dunno Deshi skates feel good to me and as long as I have skates that work I’m happy.



What kind of clothing do you like to wear and why?

Well I’m into Hip Hop music so most of my wardrobe is hip hop influenced But I’m not really the guy with the XXXL shirts like I use to be my style has matured a little over a few years. More than likely I rock SIXWONSIX clothing of course, Nike's or Adidas, or just something that looks nice like a dope tee and a clean pair of jeans and I’m cool.
