So I was sitting in Vienna at the Be-Mag office after the Eurotrash tour when Mike brought up the possibility of doing a US tour. I had just spent the last 2 weeks being sick, going to hospitals, dislocating my jaw, dealing with airport issues, and lugging a 60 pound photo bag around the continent, so just the thought of another tour wasn't sitting too well. I didn't take the idea that seriously, and headed home thinking I was off the hook.

Not more than a week passed before I got an email wondering if I could organize the whole tour, and get it all done in less than a month. Realizing I was not going to escape this task, I reluctantly agreed. The only other minor catches were that we didn't have any money to rent vehicles, pay skaters, pay for lodging, or pay for food. Ah, the plot thickens. Thus the Poor Tour was born. I picked up the phone and started calling around to see who I could sucker into this disaster waiting to happen...
