Concrete Fantasy Land - Monday, June 04, 2007 at 04:40 - By Kingdom Magazine

Hit up the Works in Leeds on Friday with a pretty small turn out of kids, I guess the Leeds scene still needs some work to get it back to the state it was in mid 90s.

Still awesome park basically to ourselves so everyone got clips including Billy who laced a ridiculous misty over the launch, NYC steez.

The King of Leeds, Martin Peel (brother of Chris) showed us the sights of the city and man, those guys know how to party. He also is a magnet for beautiful women, GQ.

Prissick Plaza on Saturday and all you’ve heard is true, the place is amazing. The smoothest concrete in the UK and it feels just like skating street. Over 150 kids came out to session with us till the sun went down.

Football, grass skating and tour photos went down before everyone made their way home, for us that meant an 11 hour drive to Brighton, dream.

Thanks to all our supporters, the skaters for busting their ass and most importantly all the kids who came and skated with us. Till next time.

They Came, Saw, Pruned, Swept and Rinsed - Friday, June 01, 2007 at 18:20 - By dangerous

So after many a call and direction the Kingdom clan dropped into my backyard of New Brighton on the Thursday morning. With the sun cracking slowly but surely peeps warmed up the Bowl session and let me tell you Stockwell is King of this domain, Sands turned it up, as well as Mr Buys and the new born razors flow boy Quinny. Most sat it out as the affects from the night before were still being thrown around or up hahahaha. But at least the sun was there, anyhow after a brief visit from the local paper media and a few more shin cracks it was time to move onward. Now for those that are in the know the Wirral holds some great treasures and some great secrets as well, one of which I’ve been dying to get Oli too at some point hahahaha. So convoy along the river on the magical mystery tour and end up were pikeys aren’t welcome lol. This spot just showed what creativity could produce and how many hammers go down in front of the FERRY cross the Mersey, but you’ll just have to wait to see what was captured in motion to believe it.
When the black clouds let rip it was time to head onto the infamous Rampworx Skatepark (www.rampworx.com) were eager peeps waited to see Watson, Sands, Bah, O’Neil, Minton, Stockwell, Lomax, Hooi, Cheshire, Coburn too name a few. All totally rinsed sections of the park and no doubt edits will be created and uploaded on the tube of you. The B Unique “Directors Cut” Mixtape rolled on, some thought it hot some not but you just know the Kelso’s command your attention. After the session its time to bounce, shower and the all-important party tick sessions. It all started in the Jebbies (SAMBUCA FREESTYLING) and ended in the Hell hole after 3am, but a trip to Liverpool is not complete without a trip to see the devil and a Slater street kebab hahahaha. So that was the might of kingdom in the North West of England thanks for the hit and run, blatant rollerbootery skills, but you can keep the nuts of Mcarlen. Safe journeys and you all come back soon ya here.

Tracky Bs and Bowls - Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 13:39 - By Kingdom Magazine

Somehow managed to recover everyone from all over Chester by 1 and met up with D Bell who showed us some serious street spots in the Wirral. Cheshire, Stockwell, Chaz, Oli and Quinny all got clips.

At this stage I’d like to mention that Chris Cheshire is officially the most stylish skater ever.

Chilling in RW right now watching the session go down, Fish is murking the box rail and Fray just spanked the wallride. B Unique premiere coming up at 8pm Stay tuned ….

Chester - Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 13:28 - By Kingdom Magazine

A massive thanks to Andy Hosker, Lee D for hosting the best stop of the tour so far. The Boneyard was rammed and the session heated up pretty quick. The bbq was in full flow by 5 just in time for everyone to grab some grub before heading out to City Bar in Chester to get loose.

Local band the Green somethings (cant remember the damn name) rocked the party with Kings of Leon covers amongst their own songs. The bar emptied out about 2am and the majority of the club ended up at Hoskers into the wee hours.

Stoked - Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 13:19 - By Kingdom Magazine

Drove from Brum to Stoke in torrential rain and sleet before pulling into blazing sunshine as we arrived at the plaza. A photographer from the local paper turned up to cover the event, over 100 rollerbladers sessioned with us and everyone got a shed load of clips .

We're Alive - Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 13:13 - By Kingdom Magazine

Tour has been a little hectic so apologies for the delay in updates.

They’ll be coming thick and fast now.

Rough Diary so far

Monday – Raining in Birmingham so went spot hunting with Si Cox. Highlight of the day was getting our photo taken by some promotions company in the Bull Ring. Arrived at Epic to a big turn out. Some blading went down and the WAV2 premiere was packed. More pix from Epic coming up.

"Morning has broken" - Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 05:11 - By dangerous

So its a Thursday morning and the tour is about to hit the fair old town of Liverpool for the Rampworx tour stop, but not before the scattered few session some of the best underground street spots the dangerous knows hahaha. Well touch wood that is, after the rumoured shindiging and partying that went on last night in good old Chester (Boneyard session) town looks like it could be a late morning awakening for some. Anyhow its all to come as we have the B Unique “CheckMate III” Premiere at Rampworx starting at 8pm and all the action of the sessions before and after (NEW PLYWOOD) plus all the partying in hell afterwards. Stay tuned to the page for regular images and motion while it develops. “Tea and Toast anyone”
