first half of the week... - Friday, July 21, 2006 at 00:42 - By Grand

This week started kinda chill, beside the fact that a house next to Neglected Truth burnt out monday morning, but this is a different story…we all got into the day with some hours of “Halo 2” action till everyone was so mad about that game that we finally left for some street skating. Which wasn’t bad at all, because the day was so hot that we couldn’t go out anyway. But it was time for some night shots and so Colin got a really dope one in downtown Philly. After that we met up with Ross Anthony for some shots. The night went on and time passed. Arround 1 or 2 Ross left Philly again back to Woodward West which was 3 hours away. And all this altough he had to work next day at 8 – this is dedication.

Next day we went out earlier to get some stuff done and came home with mad clips. Only reason why we found our way home earlier was, that a sandstorm hit Philly pretty hard, that we couldn’t shoot or either skate. Don’t ask me where it came from, I have no clue. However…Majette had do work anyway and we all needed to get some sleep for the action on the next day. The wednesday started early for me, because me and Majette went to the FDR park at 6 a.m. to get a shot done. It was 4 hours of sleep for me and 18 hours awake for Majette, but we still got a sick shot done. Later that day Genre booked a photo studio to get some shots done, so beside a little bit of skating on the afternoon we went straight to the studio for some decent shots, beers and a good time. All that faded into going out in Philly…

Thursday was the time for playground and boarderline, because as everyone knows, thursday is boarderline time in and around Philly…

Genre Weekend - a little travelling - Monday, July 17, 2006 at 15:36 - By Grand

Friday 7/14

Today we skated street around Philadelphia. Colin snagged his ender for his part. You won’t be disappointed. Murda snagged a shot also. Then we headed back to the house to wait for air france because philipps bag still had not come. His bag arrived at 930pm just minutes after ross Anthony and chris shaw finished there trek home to my apartment from woodward to shoot photos. Lil C and Ross both banged out a couple tricks that night and it was off to the bar for a night of relaxation. Colin turned into warren his alter ego drunk which murda had to keep in check.

Saturday 7/15
Saturday we woke up at 930 to leave for Baltimore dc and va but Colin was nowhere to be found. We went to get breakfast and pack. He showed up around 1130 and we were on our way. Lil c and sk killed fish market a down ledge in the city of Baltimore then we headed down the street to a HUGE gap lil c jumped. As we were packing up bets started being placed on this rail next to the gap. The rail is about ½ inch thick square.(super thin) and wobbly. 30 dollars for a true fish was thrown out there and sk did not disappoint only seconds before getting kicked out. By this time Murda was screaming for all you can eat crabs so it was off to Bethesda md where we met up with my friend from H.S. and she took us to the spot. It was a feast for 10 with a very large bill at the end. Murda CK and Lil c ate till they were sick 2-3hrs. then it was off to Tim phangs for a night of relaxation before tomorrow’s skate. Big thanks to Tim for letting us stay at his house and showing us around on Sunday.

Sunday 7/16

We woke up and hit Wendy’s before the skate. First spot was Merry Christmas where sk came through with the sequence and the line that is on this update. Cheshire also got a nice line. We then headed to a nice rail on the left hand side where murda sk and lil c all laced some clips for the video. Malik got injured trying a switch inspin 360 soul. (who does that switch). He was so close a few times but then nutted the rail and it was a mess. All I saw were napkins and blood but he says he will be ok in a few days so I hope that is the case. After that we hit up subway which philipp has been screaming for since he got here. Then we headed back to philly to relax and take care of this update.
