Behind the Scenes - Florian Binder Be-Mag designer

In this newspart of Be-Mag we want to show you also every now and then shots of the people behind the scenes at Be-Mag. This shot features Florian Binder (flobe, as he often signs his designs in Be-Mag) at the White Stripes concert in Munich (great show by the way).

Florian started 6 years ago to start working for Be-Mag by writing reviews of Hip Hop albums. Soon he started designing since this was his big love. And his work just got better and better. So with issue 20 of Be-Mag he decided that he wanted to design a whole issue by himself and the result is my favourite issue of Be-Mag to date, the photo issue. Florian has been working on this piece for 4 months and when flipping through the issue you will see the detail and thought that was used to design this piece of work. Besides spending his free minutes on Be-Mag he works his ass of for some of the finest Munich ad agencies so if you either live in Austria or in Germany your chances are big to have seen one of his works in ad campaigns.

you’ve helped my photos look good, you’ve saved my life at least twice in europe, and always been a huge help and fun to chill with— many many thanks and respect -jero

anyone who is working on such a project like be-mag has a true love for rolling and everything surrounding it. otherwise you would ce crazy and would be better of doing some designs for a skateboard mag ;).
florian might not skate that often anymore (which happens if you work insane hours each week) but he is giving back to rolling with his work and his dedication for be-mag. here i would like to thank him again.
