A.S.K. (Aggressive Skaters of Kentucky), along with The Way Skateshop, have teamed up to bring back Saturday Street Sessions, to try and build up the Rollerblade scene in Kentucky, and get together and have fun. The rolling scene in KY has been slacking worse than ever, so it’s time we get it back to where it should be.
So this are the plans for the first Saturday Skate Session on February 2nd:
- Meet at Woodland Skatepark from 1:30-2:30.
- Then we will go around the corner to Michael’s house (of The Way) where 5-8 different boxes will be set up to skate in the parking lot behind his house. It’s better than Woodland, ask anyone who has skated any of those boxes, haha.
- The Way Skateshop will also have product setup for anyone to purchase . It’s hard not having a store front where you can see and try on everything, so we feel this will give everyone a better chance to see what we have, and actually get to hold it before you buy it.
- We will skate the boxes from 2:45 – 4:30.
- After that, we then go street from there. I think the best way to go about deciding on spots would be for everyone to post comments about a spot they would like to skate.
