Ladies and Gentlemen,

Its time for another one. Its time for the Winterclash 2008. Not even 2 months to go and we will all meet in the small city of Mühlhausen. The fourth time in a row the Winterclash will connect the world of rollerblading – more than ever before. One of the biggest and most impressive riderslists in the history of our sport is the best proof of the fact that the level of rollerblading will, once again, be pushed to new dimensions. In 8 months of work we set up an event which will give you the best opportunity to enjoy rollerblading and all the other things going along with it for 3 days and more.

New spots in the park will guide the skating into new directions and will offer completely new opportunities to go wild and push the level. The grandstand will be there again to give you the best view over all the action. Also the hottest companies in our industry will represent with their booths to show you what’s up and to display their newest products and best offers.

The Afterclash is heading into the second round and will be organised better and more diversified. For all of you who aren’t able to get a nice hotel room, the

Winterclash Camping Hall will be open again and our very own shuttle service will transfer you there anytime.

This event will offer you any opportunity possible to enjoy yourself and have a great time with more than 1500 fellow rollers from more than 36 (THIRTYSIX!!) different countries.

But besides that we also need to talk about the bad changes.

Due the new anti smoking law in Germany, it will be strictly forbidden to smoke in the park. A smoking tent will be available. I really count on your support in that case and hope you will respect the new rule. You will find a list of all rules for the event on the website.

I also want you to know that, once again, a big sponsor cancelled the support of the event in the last moment. More than 11.000€ are missing now. The reason why it’s still possible to realise this event is the Rollerblading Industry. Please take a look at the list of our supporters and remember them. THEY are making it possible once again, so please support the ones who support you, us and rollerblading.

The Winterclash 2008 will be financed by Rolling Companies and YOU! Every single cent of your entry and registration fee is flowing back into the event. Please keep that in mind and don’t blame us for the fees. We are doing our best to keep them as low as possible, while organising an event which offers more than any other event worldwide.
