Up and Comers: Tyler HesterAt Be-mag we love to see skaters that are progressive but influenced by an older generation of blader; Tyler Hester is one of those lucky few. Blessed with perfect weather in Southern California, legendary skate spots and a good mix of young and old shredders to roll with we're happy to present to you the exclusive Up and Comers edit filmed and chopped by Aarin Gates.

Ryan Timms: Drawing LinesRyan Muh Fuckin' Timms. He da best and he's been out here for a while now. Not on the "Oh my god, did you see Timms in the new (awesome contest) edit?" Fuck no! This man has been on the grind with no intent on stopping. This dude is stronger than ever, or a few, or slightly better than your local favorite that doesn't promote himself. Trust and believe. Alright, Ryan Timms... This kid can skate lines and worked really goddamn hard to put this shit together. I know. I've seen him stop through VA – where I reside and where he's from – more than a few times and has been road tripping non stop with 'I Don't Carolina'. Those dudes go hard. I don't know what they really are but they're bladers and skate with not a single fuck given. That's all I got. Ryan Timms is busting his ass and putting himself out there for the trolls and still doing it. Not saying he is. Not talking about it but actually being about it. Real talk.

Competition Report: Panhandle Pow Wow 2012First and foremost please let me apologize for prolonging the viewing of this edit. It wasn't until today that I was contacted by both Blake Taylor and Ian Copp and notified that the sentences you are about to read are what is taking the official drop so long to happen. I guess deep down I have written nothing because there is not much to be said. I tried typing this ridiculously long drawn out descriptive read that would cover every aspect of the event and all things leading up to it and after. But truth be told, there is no amount of descriptive words that can explain what an incredible event Pow Wow actually is.
