They are said to only fit some skates without modification and others with. What modification could they be talking about? Does anyone have any experience riding them in a boot labeled 'with modification?'

Probably cutting the toes.

MODIFICATION means a toe cut of your skate shell!

So if I have an 8-9 shell I just need to buy an 8 to fit in it? I can't toe cut my cult shells unless I want to put a skin on it. And I don't want to put a skin on it.

No I wear a nine but I assume that if they are fitting large an 8 would work.

I am almost positive that I read, an 8-9 shell m12 boot needs to be cut for an 8-9 liner to fit.
But its worth a shot I guess?

6-7 valos -> only possible with a 6 Trust - higher is only possible with a thin liner (valo for example)
8-9 valos -> possible with a 7 Trust
But for all Trustquestions,write to AMALL - he knows all the answers:)
I have size 10 in Valos, and have size 9 size Trust in there - it`s working well but I guess I`ll be back to stock Valo lienrs and wait for Catalsyt Slim or Light version. The current version seems to be perfect for Genesys and Sl skates

I have them jawns now. A size 8. They are skinny around the foot and thick around the ankle. They are thick though, so I'm hoping that after skating in them my foot will make a little groove for itself.
I don't know how I feel about this lace on the liner thing though. I thought it was the skates job to lock your foot in and the liner just gives you something to be locked into. The bumps for the lace holes hurt my feets.

After a lengthy break in they'll be fine.

Im in the process of a break in as well.
I could only skate them for a few minutes initially and then it got better after about two sessions. Now I can go a few hours in them without pain.
It's only been two weeks. Everyone says "no pain, no gain" as far as Trusts.
They tell me to stay patient and keep breaking them in. I tried on a friends and his heel pocket was so nice...I want mine like that.

i popped these in my ufs thrones and they're money. the toe looked like it was bunching up but when you tighten the laces it slims down and fits flush. so glad i can pop my skate on and off between spots. Don't know what everyone is talking about with the initial pains. i've never had a liner so comfy right out the box.
