It would be awesome if rollerblading was a multi million / billion dollar sport like other extreme sports but it isn't. Many pros in my opinion deserve to make bank but they don't. I kinda like that fact that rollerblading is "underground" or "not mainstream" because that shit makes kids that skate more badass because they are doing it for themselves and not because mainstream told them too and they aren't just doing it for a check because that is all they are good at. Rollerblading will become just as big as other sports because it is a fresh market place and a sport that hasn't been completely exploited by big business and when it does it will be just like skateboarding. You will go to a park 3/4 of the kids will be sitting down not skating because they suck but they will have fresh decks and clothes, while one or two kids are killing it because they love to skate period. If you want rollerblading to be a huge industry, MAKE IT HAPPEN. Make some ill ass company that people and advertisers can get behind, rollerblading companies for the most part suck. They always put out gay ass clothes, hardware companies come and go, most companies don't have a constant theme and constant fresh products that follow some theme, they aren't good at advertising and after a couple years of trying they go out of business or quit. It is sick as fuck that there are companies ran by rollerbladers now that I fully support, but a lot of shit sucks. I try to buy rollerblading shirts but none of them are sick. Other than Salomons and Carbons (which I have now) there is no skate on the market that I would want to buy. There are good hardware companies like GC and Eulogy which I support fully and as often as possibly but that is all I buy from them hardware not clothes, not backpacks, not accessories, not videos, but I would if they made them and they were sick. If you want rollerblading to become a huge industry make some ill shit, if it is ill I will support it. Also what do you mean underrated? Who is judging? Why do you care?
