2500 USD and 1000 CDN, but my canadian debt was spent on dog surgery and it's going to insurance today. the US debt was paid off by my mom and i am paying her back because she didn't want me to have real debt in the economy and i was getting screwed on wire transfers to the states every month, so i am just sitting on the money here. wall haha.

my car: nothing, paid it off last year
wife's car: $11,000
student loans: $11,000
house: $115,000
Total: $137,000
not too bad. about to double my student loan payments and have them apply the extra amount to principal only. Non-private student loans FTW.

Car is paid off, no house yet just renting, no credit cards because I pay for whatever I buy in cash.

Only student loans that i don't have to pay on for 3 more years, I'm just saving alot right now so I can make payments for awhile after i get out of school just in case I don't find a job right away, which is highly doubtful, but I like to be prepared.

Ha.
-$450 on my credit card.
-$2000 to my dad.
-$60,000 in student loans.
-$2000 on my car.
My dad has been paying my car payment while I'm school so that's not really a problem for me and I don't have to start paying student loans till December and that's only if I don't get back in school.

student loans are for pussies, real men take on consumer debt out the ying yang!
If I were going back to school I might just put it on a credit card so if shit got crazy than I could always bk out of it. There is no consumer protection for student loans you are stuck with that for life son.
about $20,000 in medical bills.. but i hear medical debt is written off before any other debts.
like 20,000 in student loans and basically nothing else...I'll have my credit card payed off at the end of the month.

University fees. They'll be taken out of my pay as a percentage of 'tax', as it's the govt. Who I owe money too. Don't have to worry about that until I start earning over $30k a year, but hopefully that'll be soon. Being broke sucks.
Aside from that, I'm clear. No credit cards or nothing.
Around $17k for school, $1500 for credit card. Wooo

credit card - $1,500
school - $5,000
having a low school bill is so nice, because the payments are super easy and it helps your credit as you pay it off over 10 years.
so glad i didn't get stuck with like $90,000 school loan.

me to
My dad found out about my debit card shit, and paid for it. I feel terrible.
He found out that my lease is about to run up and he wants to help me pay for a new apartment. As far as money goes I'm feeling terrible. I fucking hate pity, its not so much that I'm proud and shit, I'm 20 though, I should be able to pay for my shit.
And I'm looking for more jobs, no place is hiring. shit.
I straight up feel like a bum. But I work and shit and I'm saving up so I can go back to school, its mad frustrating.

How the hell do some of you have tens of thousands of dollars in school loans? Do you really think going to some small liberal arts or private school is really going to give you that much of an advantage in getting a job? Have fun paying off that loan for the next 10-15 years.
I had $3,500 in debt when I graduated and paid it off within a year. I have zero debt and plan to keep it that way until I buy a house. I pay for everything in cash, and if I do use a credit card, I make sure to pay it off the same month.

I'm pretty happy with what I've learned in school. Once I get into and out of a graduate program then I'll really have an easier to finding a job. Then again doing any serious work in the mental health field requires some type of degree, I guess.

Having $10-15k in debt for an undergraduate degree is fine, but why are some people spending $40-70k? You'd be better off going to a public school in your home state, and then getting a masters degree

I'd have to pay a lot less if I didn't fuck up and try living in the dorms the first year. That was a majority of the fucking cost. And I am going to a public university in my home state. :?
$1200 or so for credit card
and couldn't pay last month rent of $900
so $2100
