Shell sizes for salomon boots

Are there shared boot shells for different sizes? I seem to remember that salomon had individual boot shells for each size.

I think someone in the know (AL) should just quickly write up what the shell sizes are for every skate.

I was just curious since I have sz 8 liners and someone is trying to sell an 8.5 salomon feinberg boot. I don't want to shove an 8 liner into a boot that shares 8.5-9.5 and have a liner swimming around.

Salomon Sole Plates Size 22 Fits 4.5-6.0
Salomon Sole Plates Size 23 Fits 6.5-8.5
Salomon Sole Plates Size 25 Fits 9.0-10.5
Salomon Sole Plates Size 27 Fits 11.5-13

these were the soul plate sizes.

still not sure bout the boots though I think your size 8 liner will fit nicely into a size 8.5 boot

...and there might have been a 13-13.5, not sure.

Thanks, those shell sizes are ridiculous.

I wish someone had the money to make skates as well developed as Salomon did, I keep seeing problems with skates now, that salomon had figured out with their first skate.

Yeah dudes were on it.....except for that dumbass energyzer thing.....I'm not a fan of the speed-lace dealies either.....or the Widebody.....and the UFS mounts are too close together.....

Yeah those all suck on salomons, I hate the buckle too. I mostly meant the raised heel from shock absorber, frame placement, decent size souls, almost individual shell sizes, the simple and perfect liners. They fucked up the royale too, no matter how much you like the backslide area on salomons you have to admit they should be replaceable in some way other than buying a new skate.

I really like the energizer...
but i guess it would just be simpler to make it with out.
the removable cuff bolts are the best. it's impossible to make them to tight so they always let the cuff move. amazing.
frames receptors need to be put back about a quarter of an inch.
needs a one piece soul tho that is even in the front as well as the heel and the plastic at least comes under the bs plate area.. hard to explain what i mean.
and i love the speed lace things, especially the locking bits up top.

smallest shell is 3-5. not just 4.5-5.

No, it's 4.5-5. The kid's skates just have more insoles, which supposedly makes them a "3," but it's really more like a really flat 4.5, haha.

Yes that is true.
But if you buy a size 3 salomon it is a 5 shell.

hey, my new ones have 27/27.5 stamped into the shell. the guy said they were 10s, but they feel smaller. i am assuming they were 9-9.5 shells, they had no insoles in the liners.

285 is US 10.5. By the way be carefull, there is NO eu45, only 44 and something and then 45 2/3.
