what kinda break down is that?

deshi are heavy, remz are light. its mainly deshi's souls that are heavy.

the plastic around the soul isnt very durable, it looks like youve skated it a month after the second day, especially if you cess slide. they wear down fast. its thinner plastic.

remz are good for souls too, so i dunno what hes talkin bout. they actually curved the souls down so itd make it easier to stay locked on rails, altho i cant tell much of a difference.

remz are great skates. i dont personally like deshi that much, but i didnt skate a pair my size either. but i do know that they both soul good, and they both flex good. remz flex better than anything, assuming you remove the cuff. so naturally they will torque and topside better.

I`ve been also wondering remedyz or deshis.. But I`ve heard that new deshis are lighter than remedyz because they have used new material in soulplates. If someone who has deshis or remedyz could check how much do they weight cos I really want light skates!! And what about the liner in new deshis, will they rip out?

Before i bought my remz i was thinking about deshi but once i put my foot in each there was no contest. remz are so much more comfortable than deshi and skate so much better. If you have a chance to try both on, do that and i guarantee you'll go with remz.

Also, you can completely customize remz depending on how tight or loose you ride your skate. Deshi just doesn't have the level of customization that remz does.

Remz also has a 3-piece soul so when you wear out one area, you only have to replace that plate. With deshi, you have to drop $45 for a new 1-piece soul. But I have heard that other soul plates will fit on deshi

I checked and the prices are pretty even right now so one doesn't cost that much more than the other.

Trust me--once you go remz you'll wonder what you skated before that.
remz are the shiznit-o-bang

Alright, I got some iian mcleod's w/ 3rd generation gc's and my friend has ufs 03 remz, we both have size 10, I weighed them, the deshi's came out considerabley ligher, also, I can Do torques so easily in my deshi's But i'll admit it is just as easy in remz, But i think cess slides are easier in deshi's. I think it is a little harder to Do step over switch ups in my deshis though, such as royale step over pornstar, etc. But then I just saw that Colini kelso came over to deshi, hes on the team now, he is amazing and he is the kind of skater that Is heavily into grinding and does the crazy 900's down 12 stairs, Im curious to see if he will still be able to do all of his crazy tricks in deshis instead of razors. I Used to do Do some spins down some pretty big sets, but with my deshis i find that it is harder to land spin tricks and Stuff. Then I watch chris haffey and carlos pianowski land crazy sets and crazy gaps in their ufs 03 remz. Overall I would say that they are equal, but who really knows.

the liners in the dk1's suck.. im sure once they release removable liners they will be much better skates. other then that no complaint.. i ride haffey's now and they are the best skates ive ever skated.
