Yeah crowd sucked and so did venue and merch but goddamn napalm death was flawless. Shane embury's bass fucking rattled, they're a bunch of brutal motherfuckers. To those going to MDF, get stoked. Onto toxic holocaust's vocalist, WTF motley crüe?! Haha. Katakylsm was pretty consistent i must say i enjoyed these canadians and their funny accents.

Anyway chris, after the fucking bar which was rad I got this chicks phone number at the train station, turns out she's in the dorms a block away so I got a free cab ride from 14 and an invite to party with the nyu folks next weekend. On top of all of this those kids left a shitload of beers in my fridge haha.

i HAD to work on friday, so i missed all of the friday bands (i really really wanted to see asphyx). i got into baltimore around 1am.

i got way drunk on saturday and saw these bands:

WITTR are way better on record, or maybe i was just too drunk and they were the last band of the night

hail of bullets ruled so fucking hard
aura noir stole the show on sunday, holy christ they were awesome
i saw bolt thrower twice, jesus that fucking ruled
absu was good and so ridiculous
sigh put on a really incredible show and they ended MDF by covering BLACK METAL, what a perfect way to end the fest

it was great, attilla put on a fucking show haha. the venue's sound was great, the drums were so fucking clean and hellhammer's rolls were insane. it's funny, andrew w.k. was at the show in baggy sweat pants and a leather jacket just jammin to mayhem.

everyone smoked and hot boxed the entire venue through cephalic carnage's entire set. so expect that. cephalic was awesome, i dig those dudes a lot, so i was stoked to see em.

cattle decap didn't show because they didn't start the tour till about a few days ago. i did see lair of the minotaur and withered. didn't care much for them though.

let me know how it turns out at your show.

The band filed for a P-1 non-immigrant work visa, which is required for a band to play in the states. The visa was approved by the United States Government's Homeland Security Office. Furthermore, as required, the band members each individually went to their Visa appointments at the US Embassy in Stockholm for the standard interview, at which point the persons handling the band's applications informed the band that there was no further action needed and that they should expect their passports in the mail with the P-1 visa attached. Everyone in the band received theirs except Mortuus. The day before tour, while the rest of the band were at the airport awaiting to board their flights to the US, Mortuus returned to the embassy to inquire as to the location of his passport. At this point, he was informed that he was missing one document in order to finalize the visa. No one in the band, nor the label, was made aware of this missing form. After we were made aware of this missing document, we provided the document to the Embassy in Stockholm and we are currently awaiting each day for the Passport to be returned to Mortuus with the visa stamp.
