Its almost been a year...(help needed)

It almost been a year since one of my best friends died (Royce/Zach) and want to start skating again and organize some sort of jam session at his one year anniversary. Problem is i havnt skated in about 5 maybe 6 years. I have no clue where to begin as far as picking out a new pair. I like a softer boot with a large soul when i quite i had a pair of cults, but probably since then much has changed. Any suggestions? Also where is a good place to order online these days? thanks!

i skate ufs thrones they used to be stiff but have softened up. lots of support but plenty of flex.
they still sell cults.

If you are around Buffalo I would check out Xtreme Wheels Skatepark, they have a decent little shop and there are a bunch of guys that go there pretty regularly.

Im pretty sure there is a comp/session there next month dedicated to Zach.
