Brady, haven't you been working at your job for a good amount of years? After all that, they won't give you a couple fucking days off? Is that job really that important to you? You should take those days off anyways out of revenge for the amount of disrespect they are showing you for not letting you have a couple days off, 3 weeks in advance, after putting in mad work for years. And, that is wack that people won't cover your shift. Any job that I work at, I always am trying to cover people's shifts to get mad extra hours so I can bank. People aren't on their grind, I guess. If I worked with you and didn't rollerblade, I'd have your back.

Geoff, everybody in Florida knows you, man. You're deep in the streets.

It goes like this. I work alone, so in order for me to take a day off I have to find someone to come cover my store while I'm not here. Usually you can do this pretty easy for a day or two, but a 4 day weekend, the bare minimum I need to make this trip work, is just impossible. Three people already took the weekend off, so that's three people that I could have used that are now going to cover the other stores. It's not a matter or disrespect, or them just telling me no, but actually just isn't possible. There was one person I knew that would be free during that time, I asked him and he was down, except for one day that he had to go to his daughter's dr. appointment.

Trust me, I tried, I spent most of the day calling stores seeing if anyone wasn't already working those days but it just didn't happen. In the Dallas Disrict there are around 20 stores, each store having two people, most being old couples that wouldn't bother trying to drive 30 miles out to cover my store. It's unfortunate but it has nothing to do with my work not letting me, they gave me a bit of time to try and find someone to make it work, just turns out there was no one available.

Might be worth it for you, especially if you can find one more person who needs a ride from there. If I were you, I'd just ride the greyhound, it's really not that bad when you're coming from Orlando, and I think the tickets are only about $35.

It's cool seeing other perspectives of the event. I didn't realize how important those "skate breaks" were. The first song was highlights of the timed lines. Then a "skate break." Then I think sammy started the semis. Still so many finals tricks absent. Tricks (period).

No Stephen Tat in that edit. IMO he had the best single run in the pre-lims, and landed top soul 900 out on the Valo box during a skate break (almost in the semis).

So many Valo box tricks haven't been seen.
And who has a good view of the "M1 best tricks"

that edit was good but defiinately lacked on the tim taylor clips. dude did so many wall ride variations and lines for ever long w. really tech tricks. my opinion is best line skater ever.

dude he was the hardest person to film at the comp... he was doing wall rides that were awesome but you cant see them from but one side of the box... so all the clips i got of him were just like one trick and they did NOT do justice to the lines that followed or lead to them.
