You really think so? I thought there was lots of sick ass skating, but I don't think it was anything exceptional as far as making blading look good. They kept landing tricks that were meant to be single tricks, then immediately started pumping to do another trick on something. That annoys me so bad. There was a lot of sloppy spinning happening too. The trick difficulty was incredible, but I just have to disagree about it looking good.

Maybe they land single tricks bcs they are doing 1080's....it's called diversity - i like lines too but it's refreshing to see some crazy spins like this....most of the people are just too close minded...

Oh I liked both their tricks. Especially Roman Abrate's stuff. And what I meant was instead of leaving some of those awesome tricks as single tricks, they'd like continue on some line even though it was visibly unappealing to watch them struggle so hard to keep their speed. Not everyone, obviously... But I def noticed it quite a few times is all.

It was one of the worst contests I've ever been to.

Terrible atmosphere. Terrible MC. Terrible organization overall.

Almost no public in attendance besides the skaters themselves.

And although it was good to see some friends from all over the country, most of these "top guys" are just way too much into competition to actually enjoy sharing a skatepark with them. Just too many dickheads in one place at the same time, and not enough cool guys to balance it.

Good if it can benefit riders that actually deserve some recognition.

But there are better ways to accomplish it than this joke of a comp.
