View Full Version : Who hates Xsjado frames? (EDIT: NOW WITH POLL)
I can't stand them; they suck and when you roll over rocks it catches really bad.

Need to get rid of the ables on mine.
Featherlite's or F1's?

I like feathers brah.
Oh and I fucking hated the footwraps, getting basics instead.
And maybe new insteps.
The part where the instep and toe part meet is quite hard and unforgiving on my pussy toes.
I have the basic 09 footwraps in addition to the DW1 wraps that they came with. I haven't had a problem yet but If I do I'll switch the wraps.

I think its because of my feet.
They're narrow and one is smaller than the other.
So since they don't have laces, my feet just like slip out of them.
:x
i liked xsjado frames when i just out them on. but after around two weeks of skating them, i got some regular salomon frames instead.

I've never tried them, they look like they would give you sloppy style, kind of like people say Remz do.
f1's for sure, super rigid... and no razors clack.. amazing

i love xsjado frames. i've been riding them since they came out. i had gc formula 1 freestyle frames on my wilson's and hated them. i thought it was just the skates that were terrible, then i switched out to xsjados and realized it was solely the ground controls that were terrible. i just received some featherlights and i'm eager to try them out tonight. anti-rocker should be fun for a change.

Yea I got them when they came out..... Ive never eat so much shit in my life lol. I kept tripping real bad on shit. or if you do a rail and come off on the steps youre dead. all in like a 3 month period I broke both my elbows(not on the same fall), broke my wrist and slipped of the safety railing of a ramp I was grinding to jump off the back and eat shit 9 feet down onto my back. had to go to the emergency room. I was all knocked out and shit. I had already laced this stunt like 4 months before. there fun to grind on but there just sooo fucking dangerous in my opinion

i personally can't stand any freestyle frame. i always get wheelbite switching up from backslide to ao-topside tricks. and i also hate frames that are pre-grooved too deep. fifty-50s (w/ juice blocks) seem to work out the best for me.
never tried the frames...never will. And yes, those DW footwraps blow...way too low cut and they hurt the bottoms of my feet.

I like that you can use huge wheels with them and they don't catch on grinds!

i used to talk shit on those frames, but i've been skating them for the past few months because i have em. now i like em just as much as any. it's not gear it's the skater brahhh's... the only thing that has a big impact to me is the wheels and bearings.

been skating them since the first black ones.
they are the only frames i can skate.

UM, as I remember you can't use 60mm wheels. I guess it depends on what you define as "huge".

Are you sure? A-Mall (not that they are always correct) said that the max wheel size they will take is 58mm. Also, I remember having trouble putting in some 57mm.

58 in GC and 50/50 causes my wheels to catch (probably just how I skate) so when I ride those frames
I skate 55mm or 54 with xjsados I skate'em bigger...like texas.
and I have riden them with 60mm wheels (currently)

I rode Lievanos' wheels in them when I had them and those are 58.

i love the wilson footwraps as shoes, but they killed my feet in the skates. i put my farmer 1 footwraps (not the brown ones) in and they felt fantastic. i can't figure out why the wilson footraps hurt so much since it's the same rubber sole. my only guess is that the thinner materials make it sit farther back in the skate causing the wide part of my foot to be compressed by the narrower part of the plastic.

f1s with night antis are the best for me.

btw on your cuffs did you cut them so they would be like the stock ones?
I voted "hate", but I love everything about freestyle frames except both my xsjado frames, which were maybe two-years apart in so called technological advancements, snapped on like a 7-stair gap.
GC, son.

I like them alot. They keep my old fat ass on the ledge and off the ground, haha.
They suck for skating distances or for spots with rough ground but that's the price you pay for having your wheels so covered.

No, I did, and it's a better shape than stock, which barely qualifies as a v-cut. More like a small U-cut.
Do you have a better picture? I might be interested in doing this.

When you skate it doesn't count because skateboarding is harder.
