I am trying to compress an edit I've been working on through imovie but I keep losing the quality. I've done this before and maintained the quality, I just can't remember how I did it. When I "compress to disk" using quicktime it totally loses the quality. When I "compress to high quality" the file is too big, and it is a "dv." file, not "mov." What am I doing wrong?

and I know, "imovie" FTL,, etc... I'm working on an upgrade but for now all I have is imovie

It should look good, thats exactly what i do for all of mine. the file size will be a few hundred mb but vimeo will let you upload up to 500mb.

Tried expert settings too, but the awaiting time keeps getting greater until like 90mins, then an error message comes up. I'll try again though.
