I tried to get some and he returned my first two e-mails. My first one was asking if he had them in stock and he told me that he would have to search for them. Then about a week later i e-mailed him again and i believed he responded saying that he needed more time. I e-mailed him a third time and he never responded.

It is because they're full price. Every two weeks or so somebody puts some nearly brand new Salo's in those sizes on eBay for $20. I love Salomon's with all my heart, but I would never pay $200 for them.

I never said they should be less or anything.

I am just saying, a lot of people won't pay that much.

And its true about ebay, I saw brand new Vinny's on there for $50.

They were too big for me or else I would have bought em.

If i even liked salomons a lil bit i'd get em.. $200 aint shit. and its better then waiting and hoping for ebay.

Definitely not. Some of us aren't rich like you, Uncle Killgore. Honestly, you could probably find those exact Salomon's in those exact sizes with one or two scuffs on them for 10% of the cost on eBay...in the next three weeks. Patience, my friend...

Consumers are cheap. Somebody must have really really wanted these Vinnys though.

You're silly if you think $200 is expensive for skates that are desired and no longer in production. They go for a lot on ebay because people want them. Anyone who has Salomons that are dying and want another pair would pay $200 for new skates rather than $300 for skates they don't like as much. You all know that.

I love my ST-90 2's. They are the shit. Softboot Salomons are the best and so are their liners!

To reiterate; you can get them on eBay for sooooooo much cheaper. I have a pair of ST-Ones I got in mint condition for $30 complete and a pair of ST-I Pro's in mint condition for $30 complete. Yes, Salo's are no longer in production, but why would you start spending that much money when you can still get them for dirt cheap through other methods of distribution? Is this concept really that hard to understand?

Jay Cottrell has like 15 pairs of Salomons and if I'm not mistaken, he got almost all of them off Ebay for less then like $75.

man i wish i stacked up on salomons when they were everywhere. i wonder what the next company to go under will be (god forbid). two of the most valued products now are fiziks and salomons. those two together (with some cozmo wheels flat for good measure) and you have the ultimate gap landing skates.

i would drop serious coin for that setup. and i don't even really do gaps.

If you were a Salomon fan you will love the Solo skate. Perfect slim fit. Put a size 9 Solo skate next to a size 9 Razors and you will see how much smaller it is. The sole plates actually work properly unlike the wide-body system. Your foot is close the sole plate which feels great. The 45 degree buckle keeps your foot locked in place. The boot works great with or without the buckle system. Great liners, very light. Slight V-cut lets your feet move how they should to jump and control grinds.

Yesterday a kid I work with gave me his ST90s from when he was younger. They're pretty new, definitely no grinding even attempted. I'm taking the dope Feinberg Senate wheels off of them and using the shock absorbers 8)

Anyone want some boaty all black Salos? They are 11s I believe.
