yeah this show is incredible. i wish that that somebody would take the archives of raw footage from the war and upload it so it can never be lost. that jewish guy from austria is such a brave man. i couldn't imagine leaving everything behind and running through the alps and catching a flight to america, only to find an old friend a year later in new york randomly, being informed of how shitty things are getting back home, and saying "fuck it, i can't even speak english but i'm going to JOIN the army before they draft me so i can go directly back to where i just ran away from to save my hide"

haha i know, when me and claire started going out 2 years ago she subjected me to that program. i told her that john looks really unhappy and i promised he'd leave her in under 2 years or whenever their current contract was up. she acted like i was nuts. i call'm like i see'm :lol:
