letona doesnt do stuff wrong, he does it his way. skating should embrace individuals pushing it however theyre pushing it. letona was definitely one of the first people doing hurricane topsoul and 450 bs royales, never see him get much credit for that. watch the old detroit imyta edit where haffey wins...letona does impossible tricks.

LETONA has done literally every trick on a rail. I've seen him do negative soyal both ways and true spin. He skates his skates normal and always has. Sometimes he put's tumor plates on his USDs and the negative still are not even as wide as a regular shadow negative. but the tricks he does in shot from dark were done with skates that had been destroyed. Taped on buckles, holes on the side of the boot, his negative plate was maybe a half a inch wide.

anytime a trick is in question is guaranteed a easy 10 page argument.
Soyals are torque souls going backwards. Naturally they are spin into. If you zero to them, it's still condisered a soyal. Otherwise everyone will look you like you're a retard if you say "omg, he just zero spun torque slide soul grind!"

so if i am skating forwards towards my ledge or rail which is on my left side and i jump rotate counter clockwise and land a negative soyale. is that an alleyyyoooppp? and then based on what you say i skate backwards with my ledge now on my right jump onto it and do my negative soyale i am doing a zero.. which is nothing. negative soyale. if this is all true. what if i am skating forwards and the ledge is to my left and i jump and rotate clockwise to a negative soyale? is that a 180 negative soyale or does it have a name too?
