so I'm just now getting over the flu...about my only symptom I have left is a nasty cough but I'm dying to blade. Thinking about going all out tomorrow and this may be backwards thinking but as long as I stay really warm it seems like it could be good to exercise and hack up the rest of the shit in my lungs. Or it's a really bad idea...not sure...need some halp.

put on some layers and sweat out all the toxins and drink a jug of water

only downside is that you are physically weak after the illness and more susceptible to injury

i've done it you'll be fine

Your only going to most likely prolong a full recovery though you might not notice it.

I skated for a week and a half before I found that the big ass knot near my inner thigh was Cat Scratch Fever.

Yes, it does exist.

That's badass. I've spent 4 years in med school and I still haven't seen a case of Bartonella henselae infection.

When is it appropriate for a doctor to stick their finger in a patients ass?

after the second date/appointment?

I'll do it on the first if you tell me you have seen blood in your toilet paper

I had the flu not too long ago and I skated every day that I was sick. Even when I felt like I was going to fucking die if I left my bed.

I would just go to the local park and carve the bowls, makio stall on everything I saw, and toe-roll like a mother fucker.

I ended up getting better really really fast. I don't know if it was just luck or if skating saved me, but I prefer to think it was the latter.

This is my EXACT position right now, so I thought fuck it and going for a blade in an hour.

I would just rest and reserve my energy for recovery.

skating when sick is a bad idea. unless its moderate temp out and you not doing anything that would over exert your body. if you do be carefull. ive skated sick before and most of the time it has made me twice as sick as before.

I usually feel this way unless I'm really really sick.

once i skated to my friends house before i realized there was no way i was going to skate. but i did do a soul 540 out on the curb in front of his house before i turned around and went home. i had never done that trick before.

Being active after recovering from the flu is a really bad idea. Having the "oh shit I'm feeling much better today" feeling and then going out and being super active could not end up well.
