i really want a comfy skate. i haVe a flat foot and its hard to find a skate that feels good. ima sz 10 but use to skate a 9, but they dont fit me too good anymore, most sz 10 skate are to big but most sz 9 are to small. skated razors for years and then tried thrones then deshi sz 10 then some remz. i liked the way they all skate , but just dont fit right. what do you guys think. right now im on the black os remz and i love the way they skate , just fucking kill my feet . they feel like my toes are locked in a vise grip that is gettin tighter.

why didn't razors, thrones or deshi fit right?

razors and thrones sz 9 are alil tight . that after like an hour of skating my toes are numb, but sz 10 are to big and my feet swim around in them. the remz sz 10 fit perfect but i dont like the other remz besides the os and they kill my feet. they feel like my feet are in a vise grip

they ch1 deshi's fit , but when they break in my feet would swim around insde and cramp up my feet. like the side would spread out on the sides

I hope it wasn't the genesis style razors boots that were cramping your foot, b/c those are just about the widest skates you can get. Maybe it was the liners you were using?

Anyways, I have a flat foot also, and I think my foot felt the most comfortable and the Genesis boots. I also use Dr. Scholls gel footpads, those help a lot! It might be that the arch of your foot is breaking down after a while and it causes the rest of your foot to cramp up. I think thats what was happening to me, and the foot pads help a lot.

To answer your question though...I've had 3 pairs of xsjado's....and they really hurt my feet.

xsjados are the most comfy skate out, so if comfort is what you are looking for, definitely get a pair of xsjados. Be sure to skate the smaller size of xsjados, they look a lot better, you can even skate a size 9.5 or 10 foot wrap in the smaller shell, i'm sure most skateshops will let you customize that, i've done it before.

I've had two pairs of Xsjados, and my Carbons are definitely x1000 better for me.

Xsjados are the only skate out right now that I consider "comfy". Though I haven't tried the carbons, but I have heard of some digging issues with the ankles where the carbon stops.

I'd say xsjados for sure, most fun I've had skating in years.

you can always get rid of the large xsjados if you dont like them, and $30 is nothing.

i am in between a 9 and 10 as well and skate small xsjados with a 9.5 footwrap. i like them but i also really want to try the carbons and sometimes miss my roces. im about to buy another pair of xsjados though and wait for some carbon reviews a few months down the line when people start wearing them out.

Dammit y'all are scaring me. How bit a footwrap could you squeeze in the small shell. I ordered from revolution on saturday but I don't think they shipped yet,

I think I've heard of people up to size 10 skating the smaller shells. I've got an 8.5 footwrap in them and have about an inch to the end.

9.5 is really the largest wrap you can get in the small skeleton. Some people do 10's but the skeleton isn't wide enough for the wrap in the front and the front-to-back frame alignment gets weird unless you let your toes hang off the baseplate.

smirnus

Alrighty then, large shell it is.

The large skeleton is perfectly fine if you're a 12 or 13, or even a wide, high-volume 11. If you're a 10 or normal-width/volume 11, it's a bit big.

i skated the most beat up carbons and cant imagine anyone not likin them worn in (unless youve got weak ankles)
But I think if youve been skating for awhile you cant go wrong with a pair of xsjados and theyre cheaper.
My friend rides a 9.5 wrap in the small shell
hes got the cuff all the way back and his toes hang off slightly.
if youre a 10 i bet you can fit the 9.5 wrap cause im and 8.5 and fit the 7.5 wrap pretty well.

dont worry dude they are good. i wear a 10.5 and they dont look too big on me but i'm also a big dude. i got my cuff moved up to a 9.5 so my toes are perfectly flushed w/ the toe. if you dont like them just give them to me cause i need new skates like nobodies buisness
