So they have been out for a long enough time for some of you to get a good feel on them and I'm just wondering how you like them maybe compared to the skates u were skating prior(and I don't mean if you were riding the desh carbons) and diss likes, I know the buckle is shit but besides that. cuz I was thinking of getting a pair of them or going back to the ufs usds any input will help thanks

mine are alight. the flex is good, but like the old deshi's, they get floppy after a month or two. the souls slide like butter, but i feel that the royale groove is a little too close to the foot to allow a cosistent royale. the leather also tears easily.

mine are on my feet as we speak 8) still trying to break in the padding since I haven't had many chances to skate, what with not having a job, and there being over a foot of snow on the ground.

first couple p-rail session were a bit dicey still getting used to how much control i have now, but i was locking every trick i tried (and i mean EVERY trick) first try, and getting them after a while, just had to re-learn what to do with my body.

anyway, my first and only session was on an awkward ledge by a canal. Loved skating it even though it was one of the weirdest run up landing situations ever (had to turn near 45 degrees on approach and landings). some tricks I did, (mind you i haven't been good in nearly three years) back royal both ways, back backslide second try. Tru top porn first try, true top soul first try. true top acid, grab fish, a/o top porn, kind grind. all in about a 30 minute time frame. before these skates it would've taken me twice as long to do these tricks. I was kinda shocked, I ran out of tricks and started trying new ones (with fail, but still).

only problem so far was a big old blister on my left foot. but, i've been wearing them for about an hour a day, trying to break in all the innards. I think the probem was the cuff area being too loose, but now i can tighten the laces up a shit load, which helps since the buckle system just prevents me from leaning forward.

So far, best first impression of any skate i've ever owned.
